The Vision I Never Wanted to See

I open my eyes
Nothing to what I despise
I hate my eyes
I can see the sun arise
And I can see every second before something dies
I hate my eyes

I can see everything
I can see when one cries their cries
I can see for miles, i hate my eyes
I can see everything from body heat
To heart rates
Statues of all kinds
I can see when the sun sets and the moon will rise
I hate my eyes

I can see the emotions I can't feel
I can see their lies
To my surprise they see me wise
But I can't show them what lies beyond my eyes
For the lies are what I tell
I can see how long until things die
Terrifying enough I'd advise myself not to tell for
I hate my eyes

So now I must disguise my eyes that I despise
With happy instead of sad lonely skies
But to my demise hiding my eyes is unwise
So I will improvise and analyze with my eyes
And for my eyes i hide my lies
And pretend I don't hate them from eye to eye
They are something I rely
