Blood...

Blood...

Blood was all Katara could think about. The red liquid that oozed out of the men's bodies. No, she didn't want to kill them. As good as it felt to break their bones, destroy them from the inside out, she didn't want to. She didn't want to be a murderer.

Katara wished she could have had the life she and Sokka wanted. A happy one. With a mom, dad, grandma and grandpa, annoying cousins that come to your home for every holiday.

She didn't want to be a murderer.

She didn't want her mom to die.

She didn't want her dad to be addicted to gambling and drinking.

She wanted to live in a safe happy home with her father and mother, not with Chan.

She didn't want Sokka to go through the pain he thinks she has no idea about.

She didn't want to put all her friends in danger because they feel like they need to protect her.

She didn't want to put everyone in danger because of her mistake.

Sorry....  autocorrect,

Mistakes

It became more than one when she found herself standing over two motionless bodies.

Her hands and shirt covered in blood.

She never wanted this...

She never wanted to be the cause of not 1 not 2 but 3 people's lives ending.

She never wanted Aang to look at her the way he was looking at her right now.

He's the avatar for goodness sake, why did he look so scared of her?

Katara looked at the bodies again and saw that she had literally ripped them apart from the inside out.

"Im sorry. I didn't mean to. I didn't want to." Katara said slowly turning to look at Aang. "This is what I meant Katara. Blood bending is no good. You can't do it anymore. It will take you over, make you lose control of yourself. It's like a drug, but worse." Aang said slowly walking towards her. "Welp that sure was a sight. I guess I will have to thank you sweetheart, now I get the money wether they like it or not," Zhao laughed "I mean it's not like they can do anything about it now." Aang glared at Zhao. "Your an asshole." Aang lightly took Katara's hands into his. "I love you, but can I ask you a question?" Katara nodded. "Will you let me help you so this doesn't happen again?" Katara nodded. Aang pulled her into a hug. "I promise your gonna be okay."

Aang helped Katara into his car and got into the drivers seat. "We are going to see someone who I think you will like. You are going to be with her for a couple days, the only time I will leave you is when I go to school. I want you to know I am not abandoning you." Katara slowly nodded. Letting her thoughts take over and her going into a day dream.
