{chapter 2}

"Katara wait! Kara- Katara why are you crying? Did he say something I didn't hear?!" Sokka Found Katara crying under the stairs. "No Sokka it has nothing to do with that asshole of an Avatar. I just- we were finally getting to be happy again, and then he took it all away from us! He started gambling again! What if I lose you Sokka?! What if Hakoda cheats again and next time I lose you?! And on top of that I have to come to school with a bunch of jerks!" Katara said covering her face with her hands. Sokka sat down next to his sister and rubbed her back. "Katara your not going to lose me. And if Hakoda started gambling again that's his problem, remember we aren't those scared little kids anymore. We can leave if we want, like you said before we can escape together. And we will get through these years of high school together too." Katara smiled and hugged her brother. "You really are the only person I can trust." Sokka hugged her back. "Yeah in this horrible world we have to stay together."

It is now 3rd period, the last class Sokka and Katara have together until lunch. The bell rang and Sokka walked over to Katara's desk. "Don't let anyone push you around. You break their nose if you have too, I'm on your side no matter who it is remember that." Katara smiled at her brother. "Okay thanks Sokka see you at lunch." "Okay bye." Katara walked out of the classroom and looked down at her schedule. "Okay I need to get to room 203..." Katara was to busy looking at her schedule she bumped into someone making them both drop their things. "Well look who it is!" Katara looked up and growled when she saw Aang. She tried to ignore him and pick up all her stuff. Aang bent down and picked something up and shoved it in his pocket. She tried to walk away but Aang grabbed her wrist. "Where do you think your going?" Aang asked while smirking. "Don't you have places to be? Get off me I need to get to my class." Aang held her wrist tighter. "You made me drop all my stuff it's only fair that you pick it up." Katara laughed. "Why would I do that it's your stuff not mine." Katara took some water out of the air and water whipped him on the forehead making his him let go of her. "Ah I thought you were a water bender." Aang said while rubbing his forehead. Katara walked past him making sure to bump his shoulder.

Katara finally made it to her math class and sat down in the back. "At this point I'm so done with everyone." Katara thought to herself. She then noticed a girl walking over to her. She had short brown hair and she was wearing black sweat pants and a green crop top. "Hey can I sit next to you?" The girl asked. "Yeah whatever." The girl sat down next to Katara. "Are you new? I haven't seen you around." Katara nodded. "Unfortunately yes." The girl laughed. "Damn hate it already? I don't blame you though, everyone here is rich and snobby and the Avatar is a dick that gets anything he wants." Katara laughed. "You seem different from everyone else. Usually I don't go trying to make friends but I think having at least one will make this year a little better so what's your name?" The girl laughed. "My names Suki, and your pretty cool too." The two girls smiled at each other until they herd a bunch of girls giggling. "Well here comes Mr. Avatar." Katara's eyes widened. "NO. Don't tell me I have another class with that asshole!!" Suki laughed. "Sorry bruh." Katara slammed her head on the desk and groaned loudly. Suki laughed and patted her back. Katara looked at Suki with her head still on the desk and started laughing with her. "HI AANG!" "AANG YOU LOOK HOT TODAY!" "AANG CAN YOU FOLLOW ME BACK ON INSTA?!" "AANG CAN I TAKE A SELFIE WITH YOU?" Katara and Suki rolled their eyes and laughed. "Wow they are so desperate." Suki suddenly got extremely excited. She was practically jumping out her seat. "Oh no. Not you too." Suki stopped and playfully rolled her eyes. "NO EW! I just got excited because with what you said you made me realize something!" Katara motioned for Suki to continue. "Your the awesome girl that told Aang that he was an Asshole and that you don't want a picture with him!" Katara laughed. "Oh yeah that was me." They both started laughing until someone smacked Katara's desk making them both jump. "Sorry didn't mean to scare you, just wanted to say you forgot something." Katara sighed and rubbed her temple. "What? What could you possibly want now?" Aang laughed and went really close to her face, for some reason that made Katara really nervous. Aang smirked when he noticed. He went up to her ear and whispered. "I wouldn't talk like that to me right now." Katara felt chills go down her spine and she gulped. "W-why?" Katara mentally beat herself up for stuttering. She felt Aang put something in her hand, she looked down without knowing that made their faces come even closer. "OOH NONOONONONO! How did he get my phone?! Did he get in it?!" Katara panicked. She looked back up to see him smirking, she gulped again. "H-how d-did y-you get this?" Aang chuckled. "Like I said you dropped it. Be careful next time Katara." Katara then noticed his eyes. "Oh wow I've met air benders with gray eyes before but his are just gorgeous." Katara gulped. "How do you know my name?" Katara asked getting her confidence back. Aang chuckled and kissed her cheek making her whole face go red. He stood back up and looked at her satisfied with her reaction.He then walked to the desk right in front of her. (All desks are for 2 people)
Katara slowly turned around her face still red and looked at Suki who's mouth was wide open from shock. Katara then turned and looked at the rest of the class, all the girls where fuming and all the boys just looked shocked. Katara put her head in her hands and groaned.
