"Sokka?"
Katara stared at her brother secretly praying he didn't know what she had done. "He let me off the hook with Meng but now I've killed 3 people..."
"Katara." Sokka ran to his sister and hugged her. "Do you know?" Katara asked no hugging back yet. "Do I know that you killed them men that killed our mother? Yes, I know." Sokka hugged his sister tighter. Katara started to cry. "A-and your still able to look at me? H-hug me?! H-how Sokka?! C-can't you see I've lost it?!" Katara yelled pushing her brother away. "Katara I don't care. Yes what you did was wrong but at least you understand that it was wrong. If you were crazy you wouldn't have felt bad about killing those men or Meng. And your getting the help you need to get better. And you are the best sister ever don't you ever think otherwise." Katara laughed through her tears and hugged her brother.

"Hey Aang where have you been? Haven't seen you in a while. And you weren't posting on social media so everyone thought you died." Zuko laughed. Aang was in the boys bathroom leaning on the wall. "Heh well I've been busy. Social media didn't make my to-do list." Zuko and Aang laughed. "How are you doing? With Mai I mean." Zuko ran his fingers though his hair and leaned on the sink. "You want me to be honest?" Aang nodded. "I didn't think us breaking up would have so much of an effect on me." Aang was about to say something but then the bell rung. "Wanna talk at lunch?" He asked. "I mean- sure why not." Aang patted Zuko on the back as he walked out of the bathroom. He was right outside his class when he remembered he left his phone in the bathroom. He groaned and slowly walked back knowing it was no use to rush he was going to be late either way.
As he was walking to the bathroom he herd a familiar voice from the teachers lounge. "We question her and then she disappears no where to be seen for weeks?! If you still want to stand up for her now and tell me she's not suspicious I would be suspicious of you." Aang stopped in front of the door and decided to be nosy and listen in. He had a bad feeling that they were talking about his girlfriend but he wasn't sure.
"I have some more investigating to do so we won't be able to speak with the Avatar today but I'm thinking some time next week, maybe on Wednesday. Ask him a few things about that girlfriend of his." "So they are talking about Katara. Is this the officer assigned to Meng's case? Shit they are leaving the room!" Aang used his Air bending to silently sprint to the classroom. He opened the door and the teacher stopped talking and looked at Aang with her hands on her hips. "Nice of you to join us Avatar. Please sit down so we can continue class." The teacher said sounding bored. Aang walked to an empty seat.
Aang was in a daze thinking about how he was going to get Katara out of the mess she made when his thoughts were interrupted by a girl lightly tapping his shoulder. "Hm? Oh Uhm yes?" The girl laughed. "Hi I'm Kayla. I hope I'm not over stepping my boundaries but I was wondering if your okay?" "U-uhm what?" The girl giggled again. "Well you were staring into space and your eyes started to water. I just wanted to see if your okay." Aang sighed and softly smiled at her. "Y'know I'm stuck in the middle of a big mess and no one has asked me that..." Aang responded quietly. "Well I know you don't know me but you can talk about it to me. I think talking to strangers is sometimes better than talking to close friends. You don't have to worry about being judged because they don't know you. And you don't necessarily care for them so even if they do judge, their judgment doesn't mean anything to you." Aang thought for a moment. "Yeah I guess that's nice."
The bell rung. "Well if you wanna talk, my names Kayla." Kayla got up to walk away but Aang grabbed her hand. "Can we talk outside?" Kayla smiled and nodded.

"Sokka look at this new trick a learned!" Katara yelled pulling her brother into the garden they both laughed like 8 year olds. "Okay show me you have been going on and on about this trick the suspense is killing me!!" Sokka yelled excited to see his sister trick. Katara nodded and faced the water fountain. She calmed down closed her eyes and focused on her breathing and the movement of the water. She gracefully pulled water out of the fountain and swirled it around in the air.
