We had a long talk about each others plans for the school year, we finished our time at the restaurant and now he was driving me home. The drive was quiet I didn't want to leave this night yet, I didn't want to leave him.

"Evans?"

"Yeah."

"Do you think like…. We could just keep driving around…. For a bit longer?"

".... Don't you want to go home…. get some sleep…. I wouldn't want to keep you up all night."

"We don't have to be up All night… just for a little."

" If I have the chance to hang out with you…  it's gonna be all night."

"🎵I'm gonna give it to you Alllllll Nightttt Long🎵… can I play that song?"

He snickered,"Go ahead"

I pulled out my phone and played the song, as the song was playing I sang with it.

"Shhhh" ,Evan's said, "Why the hell are you singing?"

"What do you mean why the hell are you singing... you sing a song… I'm singing the song… like what?"

"Why would you sing a song that's playing already?"

"You mean to tell me you have never sung a song while it's playing?"

"Nope never have."

"Your such a fucking liar."

"I'm not and I never understood that-"

"Shush" I said putting my hand up " you're ruining my vibe… ok take that stuck up shit somewhere else."

"How is it-"

"Shush" I said, now putting my finger to my mouth.

He rolled his eyes, I continued to sing my song.

"Can we pull the windows down?"

"Only if I can HEAR the song… instead of you messing it up."

"Noooooo Evan's just pull down the damn windows!" I replied kicking my feet on the floor of the car.

"Who are you talking to… being a little brat like that?"

I gave him a pout, "Can you just…. roll down the windows please." Now scrunching up my lips.

He bursted out laughing, "Your fucking distracting me from focusing on the road!"

"Ok then I'll roll down the windows."

I looked at him and then looked back at the button, and then at him and looked back at the button.

"Oh my god" he rolled down both windows from his side of the car.

"Yay"

Passing by the apartments and houses, palm trees and a billion lights each placed  by a person. The dark sky complementing the lights clumped yet scattered throughout the scene. I looked out of the open window and didn't look at anything else but the city we drove in.

"It's so beautiful." I told Evans

"... yeah."

"So many people."
