My head was about to explode from all the questions and talking. If I didn't know better, I would say that their abilities are to annoy people.

"STOP TALKING," I screamed at them.

Immediately, they all closed their mouths and looked at me like I just blew up a place. Maybe my approach wasn't the best, but they were so much more irritating.

"We are all here to work together. If anyone has any questions, we can simply take turns," I spoke again, this time with a neutral voice.

"I suggest we start with a simple introduction," Vogue told us.

"This would be great. I am Selina," I started.

Everyone took turns introducing themselves. There was Isolde, a girl who could control ice and was able to freeze people, Cressida, a seventeen-year old girl who had the ability to manipulate gold and create things out of it, Astra, who was able to control light and thus create basic illusions, and finally Linus, a fourteen-year old boy who had the ability to absorb and reflect other people's powers. I thought their abilities were really cool. After a simple demonstration of each of our abilities, we all were certain that even if the others fail, we will be able to win. We sat and talked for a little while, until three adults walked in. I knew them as the Superior Formation, since they were the only ones who actually knew how the Leader looked like. They explained the situation again quickly and took us to a secret hideout below the facility, or as I liked to call it, a below-below ground hideout. The Formation told us that we shouldn't leave the room unless we sense that no one is out there but our enemies. In my opinion, I thought it was weird. Like how are we supposed to know when our troops are gone? Perhaps it was a sub-ability of one of the abilities. All of us agreed on the conditions of the formation and as soon as we did that, they disappeared. I was pretty sure they went to the Leader to help out with whatever they were supposed to be doing. It was pretty boring for the first few minutes, that was until things started to get a whole lot more exciting and frightening. The whole building above us shook with enough force that some small rocks fell on our heads. I tried to keep put and stop myself from panicking. I could see that all the others were panicking, so I tried to show confidence.

"We are being outnumbered," Alon said after some time.

"Excuse me? How did you know," Astra asked, her voice full of worry.

"I can sense their powers. Right now, they are more dark forces and less of our forces," Alon told her.

"Should we make our move now," I asked in concern.

No answer. Oh, so he was still mad about what I said. There was no time for such nonsense, especially since we were about to fight for our lives. I whispered for Vogue to ask him my question. If he didn't want to talk to me, he could at least answer Vogue.

"No. We are supposed to wait until there is no one left," Alon replied.

Normally, I would have started arguing about the fact that he is ignoring me, but right now, the only thing I was thinking about was that we were going to die. It is not the most optimistic thought, but it was true. We all waited, anxious and worried. There were strong vibrations every five minutes. One of them was strong enough that some of us fell to the ground. We could hear the sound of explosions as powerful forces collided

"We should go out now. There are no longer any of our forces left," Alon said as we all fell to our knees with another vibration.

We began rushing out of the room when the ceiling caved in. Boulders began to fall all around us. We quickly reached the exit and we swiftly avoided the huge falling rocks. One rock fell on Cressida's leg. She screamed in pain as she crashed to the ground. We all crowded around her and tried to get her up.

"You guys have to leave. I will try to hold on for a while. I can create a protective cover to shield myself and you can come for me later," she said in a low, strained voice.

I shook my head. I couldn't just leave one of my teammates to die. A middle-sized rock dropped on my left shoulder and I snapped into reality. I could feel the pain crawling up my shoulder. Someone grabbed me and turned me around as we started running up to the facility. My vision started to blur as my shoulder went completely numb. I couldn't tell who was leading me, but they held my hand over their shoulder and took off running at full speed. I could feel myself slipping into the darkness and I willed myself to stay awake. I felt someone lay me down.

"Selina, are you alright. You need to stay with us. We need your help," the same person said.

I tried to keep consciousness and focus on what was happening around me. It worked for the first few minutes, but then I fell into the oblivion.
