(I know this is a picture of a tree, but I'm running out of flowers here, guys LOL)
I'm not sure how many of you read these, but I wanted to give you guys a few updates. One, I'm currently on spring break until April 12, so I'm hoping to update some more in that time, though I can't make any promises. Two, I mentioned before that I was planning on writing a Citrus fan fic... Well, that changed. I'm currently working a new fic, but it's for Nobara and Maki from JJK. I love them so much as a ship, but I noticed there's hardly any stories on them on here or wattpad. Any stories on them that are here they either aren't a couple or it's one-shots. Three, I'm not sure how many of you would be interested, but I recently started a discord server for people who read my stories. This will give readers an easier chance to talk to me about my stories or things in general. It also means that readers can talk to readers whenever they want. Additionally, if there's writers you really like on AO3, Wattpad, some other website, you're more than welcome to invite them as well. Again, I'm not sure how many would be interested in something like this, and I won't be offended if you don't. it's there if you want to join, and if not, that's totally fine.
This should be the link: https://discord.gg/BEQpV4Ccx7 I've been having problems getting a link that lasts more than 7 days though, so hopefully that works for a while. I'm still kind of new to discord and running it, but I have a friend (another writer) who's helping me out. Hopefully all will run smoothly, and everyone can have a great time! Love you all <3 enjoy the chapter :)

Mikasa and Annie both went silent as they allowed the other's words to wash over them. She loves me? They both thought with surprise and relief. When Annie made the decision to confess her love to Mikasa, she never expected Mikasa to confess as well. She expected the taller girl to say that she wasn't prepared to say it back or something along those lines. Never did the possibility cross her mind that Mikasa loved her as well.
Mikasa, much more so than Annie, was very good with hiding her emotions, and she was adamant about doing it. She rarely, if ever, admitted to loving someone, and never in such a genuine way as 'I love you'. Usually she would say something short like 'love ya' or she'd simply nod in agreement.
Mikasa, meanwhile, was more or less blown away that the words had left her mouth. She was surprised Annie admitted to loving her, but she was more shocked that she said it back. She knew she loved Annie, of course; she'd known for a long time. She'd only just recently admitted her love for the blonde to herself, and here she was confessing to the blonde so easily.
Is it really that easy to love someone? Mikasa couldn't help but think. Her whole life, love had come easy to her, so she shouldn't have been surprised. However, after her parents death, she felt that it became much harder to love people. She mostly attributed this to her lack of trust in herself, but she knew that wasn't all of it.
All I had to say was 'I love you'? Mikasa thought, It was that easy this whole time?
Annie looked at Mikasa with wide eyes. Her mouth opened and closed a few times like she wanted to say something, but no words left her mouth. Instead, Annie relaxed on top of Mikasa, and Mikasa sighed while wrapping her arms around the blonde tightly, almost as if she was scared that Annie would disappear if she let go.
Annie definitely wasn't blind to Mikasa's unnecessary death grip, but she wasn't bothered by it in the slightest. If anything, Annie was overjoyed by Mikasa's grip because it told Annie that Mikasa trusted her enough not to push her away, and that spoke more than any words either of them could've said.
Mikasa put a soft, gentle kiss on Annie's head before closing her eyes and allowing sleep to wash over her with a subtle smile on her lips.
