Chapter 32: Hibiscus

"C'mon, Sasha," Mikasa said while squatting halfway to the ground and patting her back. The brunette had been complaining since they started walking, and Mikasa was finally done with it.

Sasha practically squealed while taking the opportunity to jump on Mikasa's back. Mikasa let out a grunt from Sasha jumping on her, but she easily caught the girl and stood up. "Someone's not happy," Sasha whispered in Mikasa's ear, and she turned to see Annie groveling with her arms crossed.

Mikasa laughed to herself before moving Sasha's legs to wrap them around her waist to free her hands. Once her hands were free, she used one to grab Annie's hand and the other to continue holding Sasha.

Annie looked at Mikasa's hand as if it offended her, but she eventually accepted it. Annie then made the mistake of looking at Sasha who subsequently stuck her tongue out at Annie. "Why do you spoil her?" Annie grumbled at Mikasa.

"Because I'm the favorite, obviously," Sasha teased.

"Obviously," Annie said with an eye roll while showing Sasha her joined hands.

As if making a point, Sasha moved her hands to Mikasa's boob and squeezed it, causing Mikasa to squeal in surprise and attract everyone's attention. "What the hell kind of funky shit is going on back there?" Ymir asked with narrowed eyes.

"Annie probably did something perverted," Reiner said with a dismissive wave of his hand.

"I did not!" Annie defended herself.

"It was definitely Sasha," Connie clarified.

"Ha! I bet I touched it before you," Sasha teased Annie.

"I- uh-..." Annie tried to defend herself before cutting herself off.

Rather than say anything, Sasha burst into laughter while Annie removed her hand from Mikasa's to pout.

"Okay, what the hell did she touch?" Ymir asked, dirty minded as ever.

"She grabbed her boob!" Annie said defensively.

As expected, Ymir began laughing hysterically before falling back to high-five Sasha who was recovering from her own fit of laughter.

Mikasa decided to turn her attention to her still pouting girlfriend, and she used her free hand to grab her face and kiss her. It wasn't pretty, but that had been Mikasa's intention. Annie's eyes widened when Mikasa pulled away, and her jaw practically dropped.

"Front row seat!" Sasha cheered from on Mikasa's back.

"I will drop you," Mikasa threatened while she looked over her shoulder to see Annie wiping her mouth as if she was in shock -she probably was.

"I'll be shutting up now," Sasha announced before zipping her mouth shut and resting her chin on Mikasa's head.

It took the group a while to reach the costume store, and Mikasa about collapsed when Sasha finally got off her back. "You good down there, Cap?" Ymir asked teasingly.

"Shut up," Mikasa groaned while everyone watched her legs wobble. Generally, Mikasa had good stamina and strength, especially in her legs, but after so much running, walking, and carrying, she was starting to feel the burn.

Annie watched her suffer from inside the store with her arms crossed. "Annie, go help your girlfriend," Ymir teased.

Annie just growled at her while looking at Mikasa from inside the store. Mikasa walked over to Annie before practically dropping all her weight on the blonde. "My God," Annie grunted while complaining, "You're heavy"
