So, yeah.... this is it. Alternate ending and oneshot should be coming soon!

So, we've reached the end of this story. I'm so grateful to have written this story and received so much love and feedback from people. I'm still young and growing as a writer, so seeing so much appreciation and support now really makes me more happy than words can express. As sad as it is to see it go, I'm happy to have finished it. I'm getting to that point in the year where writing just feels like a drag. Another one of my stories hasn't been updated in over a month and a half, so I really need to get to work. Anyway, I'm glad I could write this story that brought a lot of happiness to people's life, including mine. Thanks for sticking with me for so long! Love each and every one of you! Enjoy!

The following day, Friday, Mikasa woke up early in the night. She was extremely nervous about her plans for the weekend. It was Friday, and they only had today and the weekend off before they'd return to school. Because of that, Mikasa wanted to do something to thank Annie and force herself to open up a bit more.

She called Eternity, who made her wait until the very last ring of the phone to answer, and asked if power was on at her old home. "Yes, I don't know why you're so nervous," Eternity huffed into the phone, hanging up before more could be said.

Mikasa laughed a little at the girl's curtness. It was amusing to see her get so aggravated just by hearing her voice.

Mikasa glanced over at Annie who was still fast asleep. Mikasa had taken Oliver's number from Annie's phone and messaged him about her plans for the weekend. She gave the go ahead and even wished her luck, adding that she wouldn't need it.

Anxious, she got out of bed and began preparing. She wanted to bring a good bit of things since her old home was a little... old fashioned. A lot of the blankets were made from real animal fur that her mother had sewn, and she imagined Annie might be a little weirded out by that.

She also knew she'd need to pack food. Technically, she still remembered all the hunting tips her father had taught her, but it would be a lot easier to pack food from home.

Mikasa found a large hiking bag and packed it all into there. She was surprised the blankets fit, but she made it work quite well. When she finished packing the bag, she sent a quick text to the group chat. Everyone wanted to hang out that weekend, so she told them that she and Annie wouldn't be able to make it.

After preparing breakfast for the two of them on top of the other meals she made for their weekend, Mikasa went back to her room to wake Annie. She leaned over her blonde girlfriend's face, pushing her bangs away from her hair gently. She then peppered sweet kisses across the girl's face until she grumbled and opened her eyes.

"'Morning," she greeted tiredly as she brought her hands to her eyes to rub away the sleep.

"Good morning," Mikasa said sweetly, "I made breakfast."

"You need to stop that," Annie grumbled.

"Stop what?" Mikasa asked curiously.

"Working so hard like that," Annie elaborated.

"It's no trouble at all," Mikasa assured her while pulling her up, "I wouldn't do it if it was."

"Makes me feel like I need to work harder," Annie mumbled while scratching the back of her head.

"Don't worry about it," Mikasa said with a smile while leaning in for a chaste kiss, "but get up because we have plans."

"Plans?" Annie growled under her breath, not wanting to leave the bed.
