(Emiko Mizuki, Age: 16)
A loud crash sounded, and those standing outside the room could hear the semi-rampage going on behind the closed door.
Within the room, a shadow covering her eyes, Emiko had her hands slammed onto the table, her chair thrown back onto the floor and a broken glass on the opposite side of the room, shattering into oblivion as it made contact with the wall.
"Fuck off" At this point, you could practically see steam rising from the hot-headed teen.
"Sit down" Her eyes flickered over to her teacher, she huffed in annoyance before she grabbed her chair from the floor and sat back on it- with little protest. She made sure her glare was noticed.
"Sensei, with all due respect, I have not reason to listen to these officials" She spat, venom lacing her words
"But you will listen to me" Hearing the slight agitation in his voice, she laid off picking a fight, opting to huff in response
Emiko met the eyes of the adults sitting across her. "Why do you want me when you already have plenty of skilled people on the job?" she irked as she spoke, eyes penetrating their figures, her lips curving into a smirk as she noticed a shiver go down their spines.
"While that may be the case, as per Lovro mentioned, you currently are not enrolled in school despite being at the age. This mission would allow you to have both the chance at an education as--"
"I am perfectly well educated, thank you" she sarcastically remarked. Her grandfather side-eyed her. "Continue" he was the last person she wanted to upset, lest he ban her from missions. Again.
"And as we've said the teacher is the one threatening to blow up Earth like he did the moon" The second official continued, "So having one of the world's best will make the kill take less time"
Emiko opened her mouth to speak before pausing, in deep thought, then she turned to Lovro. "This is similar to back then, isn't it?" she referred to all those years ago, to when she first entered this occupation. Her hands balled into fists when the older man nodded.
"Those years ago?" the second official mumbled, to which the first official quickly hushed him.
"Alright fine." Emiko met their eyes again, "I'll do it"
And for the first time in quite some time, Emiko found one more thing to feel determined about.
"Great" The first official smiled, it wasn't returned by the way.
"When do I start?"
"Next week," he continued, proceeding to explain her job role, the area of work and the target.
"This will be located where?"
"Kunugigaoka Junior High"
Her brows furrowed. She'd heard that name before. But where? Shaking her thoughts away, she accepted his outstretched hand and briefly shook it.
"Earth's threat will be gone." She announced, not a thread of hesitation in her voice. The two men nodded before continuing on to explain the deadline.
'Next March? That's more than enough time. If not then...' she shook her head, 'No. That's plenty of time'
"Then," she turned to Lovro, "Am I excused?"
"Yes"
With the green light, she turned around and quickly disappeared.

Once in her room, she whipped her phone out and made a call.
It took a few rings before she picked up.
"Hello?"
"Irina, how are you?"
"Miko? Oh my gosh, how are you? Are you eating well? How's work? You aren't pushing yourself too much again are you?" Emiko pulled the phone away from her ear as Irina bombarded her with questions, when she heard the phone go silent, she responded.
"I'm doing well. Grandpa is starting to get to me though" she sighed; though she loves Lovro to pieces, sometimes he can get just a tad annoying.
"Ugh, I want to hug you so badly. These brats have been getting on my nerves" The older woman complained. Emiko shook her head in amusement.
"I'm sure you're fine, besides it's not like you can't kill them.. oh wait, you can't, my bad" she teased
"Funny" Emiko fought not to smirk at the sarcasm she gained, "Besides, Karasuma is constantly nagging at me to act more like a teacher, it's like he's completely forgotten that I'm here to kill something, not to teach a bunch of snot-nosed brats"
Emiko sighed before responding cooly, "Calm down. Don't forget that your mission includes acting as an English teacher, not just killing the target. You've gone above and beyond for prior missions, I expect that you do the same this time around"
Emiko could just picture the steam coming out of her ears...
"You're siding against me?! How could you?!?!" She burst, ranting on about a betrayal of trust, not that Emiko particularly gave a shit
"Alright, alright. I need to go so I'll talk to you later. Bye" Hanging up without a chance for her to answer.
She let out a heavy sigh, placing her phone on the table beside her bed. She sat down staring at the wall before flipping backwards.
"You'll be able to hug me very soon, Irina..."
