"Where should I-?"
"Empty space on the left" She instructed
"O-Okay"
'Why was I dragged into this?' She deadpanned, sighing in exhaustion as she tiredly placed a log on the floor, the week-all-nighter she had done was slowly taking a toll on her, as she thought back to quite a few hours ago...
Earlier
"Goood Morning~" Korosensei greeted her in a sing-song.
"What?"
"Hm? Nothing~" He hummed, "Can I not say good morning to one of my greatest students?"
"Quit the act. I'll ask once more. What. Do. You. Want?"
"The other students seem to have landed themselves in a bit of trouble. Could you–?"
"No."
"You don't even know what–"
"You want me to help them. No."
"Pleaseee"
"No."
"Why should I?"
"Because you're the greatest student and peer ever?"
"No."
"Fine! I'll get you one thing that you want"
"You cannot give me what I want"
"You don't know–"
"I do." As she got up to leave, he panic-zoomed in front of her.
"If you help them I'll do anything you want!"
She stopped, raising a brow "Anything?"
"Yes. One thing, but it will be anything"
"Hmm..."
He stared at her expectantly.
"I'll look over them"
"And help them if they really need it?"
She sighed in exasperation, knowing he wouldn't leave her alone. "Fine, now screw off"
His smile grew, the biggest she had ever seen. "Thank you!"
"Mm"
Present
"You two." she gained Sugino and Kimura's attention, "Take this and put it with the main beams"
"But we have all of tho—?" Sugino responded as they approached her
"Support beam for the back room you muppet"
"Ohh"
The duo quickly nodded and bent over to pick it up. Emiko watched as they tried picking the beam up in, one, a way they wouldn't be able to carry it, and two, a way they would hurt their backs if they actually managed to pick it up.
She pinched the bridge of her nose in irritation as she watched them struggle for a few seconds. "Tsk," smoothening her eyebrow out, she sighed, "Leave it. Go away." The moment they sensed her irritation, they bowed and quickly left her alone, apologising as they left.
"Sorry!!"
"Stupid weak, useless idiots" she muttered under her breath as she lifted one end of the beam, as she bent down, she felt a small force collide with her leg, she looked down and saw a kid. "Tsk. Watch it brat" She watched as the child looked up with glossy eyes as he held his nose. "Piss off"
