I pressed the power button of the remote control as I sat at the sofa which is just infront of the flat screen television. My world suddenly stopped like how I met him for the first time, like how I saw him for the first time as I watch him on the the tv receiving his award-   The best liquor of the world makes me wanna hug him. It makes me wanna kiss him  too. I can't wait to say that I'm so proud of you babe. Finally. You finally reach your dream. Your dream to own famous liquor brand.

" Omy God Sydney!? That's your ex right?" Asked Bubbles while having unbelievable tone with high pitched voice. Yeah you perfectly heard it right. He's my ex. My EX- boyfriend. Emphasising the -E-X- word.

"Based on how you look at him right now, hmmm? I can tell that you haven't move on" bubbles said. Hinarap ko siya.

"Yet" I added " I haven't move on yet" I corrected her. Mukhang Hindi naniniwala ang gaga.

"It's been 5years? 6years?" She asked but I just shrugged.

"Good God Lauren Sydney antagal tagal na nun!!" Bubbles exclaimed.

"Yes Bubbles, you're right antagal tagal na pero nandito parin. Yes it's already years but I just can't forget him that easily." I said, naiiyak na. She remained still as I spoke it with serious tone. I don't know Kung natatawa ito o nalulungkot para saakin.

"Jesus! Lauren, I don't know what to do with you anymore!" Replied Bubbles, like surrendering. Same Bubbles. Same Bubbles it's not only you who don't know what to do anymore. I am too. Hindi ko na rin alam gagawin ko.

"His smile, his touch, his corny line but sweet at the same time, his eyes, the way he looked at me with so much love. I just can't forget that" I said in a low tone because I'm trying to suppress the weep on my voice but I know she heard it. Loud. And. Clear.

" Basta girl andito Lang ako" she muttered. Tina-try pagaanin ang loob ko.

"Thank you Power Puff" I said, trying to tease her even my voice cracked.

" Oh siya mag senti ka muna dyan, I'll just cook something for our dinner" tugon nito at tumalikod na upang pumunta sa kusina.

I still remember how our whiskey love started. It's still clear to me. Every memories of ours were still crystal clear for me.

"Whiskey?" He offered me the drink. That was the first time I saw him. I'm broken hearted that time. But each day passing by we became close to each other. Huli na ng nalaman Kong nahulog na pala ako sa lalaking nag offer sa'kin ng whiskey. He made me realized that I should be happy and inlove again. Gano'n nga ang nangyari Hindi sa ibang lalaki but I fall inlove with him. Deep. Hard. Yung wala ng takas. It's too late para lumangoy pa palayo dahil lunod na lunod na ko.

I walked upstairs to wash my face perhaps to change my clothes para Hindi naman ako mukhang dugyutin sa hapag kainan. Bubbles is  a better cook than me. Tho I know how to cook but sadyang mas masarap ang Kanya kaya siya ang nagluluto para sa'ming dalawa. Bumaba na ako dahil tinawag na ako. She cooked pasta for our  dinner dahil we don't eat heavy meal at night dahil may pigurang dapat alagaan.

I guess we are not really meant to be. I overheard someone said na yung pinag tagpo Lang kayo pero di tinadhana. Well pinatatag kami ng panahon sana pagtagpuin naman kami ng pagkakataon. I hope. I really hope.
