Retz, Killua's best friend since primary school, they met when Retz got moved to the back of the classroom for being too loud and found Killua sitting back there as well; they been best friends ever since. Both are the same age and the same year in academics, both do photography  together, on top of that, their families are close friends.

Them being close led to Retz being protective over Killua, even if he only was a few months younger, keeping him away from things or people that do him harm...people like Gon Freecs.

The two stood at the rooftop, taking in each other's presence. Gon knew who Retz was, he knew she was Killua's best friend, she had to know all of Killua's relationships that didn't involve her. He thought Retz was harmless, she was known to be the sweetest girls in the entire school next to Killua, she was friendly to everyone and everything...Gon guesses he was wrong.

They stood in silence for a few moments.

"So, what is it you want?" Gon questioned with hooded eyes that seemed so empty.

Retz smiled, "Gon, sweetheart, you know what I want," Gon raised an eyebrow. "I want you to stop pursuing Killua."

Gon couldn't help but burst out into a small chuckle, "And why would I do that?"

"You don't seem to remember the first message I sent you,"Gon immediately stopped laughing, remembering. "I know everything you've done." Retz took out her phone, unlocking it to reveal a photo folder, clicking on the first photo.

Gon's eyes widened as Retz swiped through the first sequence of photos; a play by play of him taking out the rat poison and replacing the baking ingredient with it.

"Oh, and that's not all," Retz smiled, swiping through the next sequence; photos of Uzumaki walking behind him and Gon walking out a few moments later alone, then a picture a needle, then another one of Uzumaki passed out.

"And last but not least," The final sequence which contained Gon and Aoi on the roof, showing Gon walk towards Aoi and lift her up and over the railing, tossing her to her death.

Gon, who was too shocked to move, fell onto his knees instead, Retz smiling down at the broken figure. Gon didn't know what to say, the only thing he felt were tears in his eyes from the feeling of having his love torn from him...one of the only things he truly cared about.

"Now," Retz spoke up. "I may not have evidence of the others but once the police see what you've done, they'd have nothing but to suspect you too."

"I did it all for him," The boy spoke in a mere whisper before looking up, meeting Retz's harsh stare. "I-I did it for him. P-please, I'll do anything, just d-don't tell him, I'll-"

"I already told you what I wanted; I want you to stay away from Killua."

Gon couldn't help but let a few tears fall, "B-but I love him and I-I wanted to-"

"Well you're not going to, I'm trying to protect him from people like you and you're not going to do anything except stop whatever you've been doing. You killed people, Gon, over something you call love, you're truly grotesque-"

Gon's demeanor changed for a brief moment from the statement, "It is love, I'm in love..." His eyes were dangerous, almost like an empty void,

"Yeah, yeah, whatever, but you're gonna stop, unless you want everyone, including Killua, to know what kind of person you are, and when Killua finds out, do you think he would want to love someone like you?"

Gon lowered his head in defeat, he was completely cornered. His mind was telling him that this was it, it's over, but his heart was so attached to the albino boy, it was scared that once he let go, he'd be out of his grasp forever, but Gon knew what the right choice was; he'd rather let go then have Killua hate him forever...at least his heart would break because of himself rather than by the person he loves most.

"O-okay," He whispered, feeling numb more than anything. "I won't...pursue Killua anymore." The words felt bitter, yet poisonous to his tongue, wanting nothing more than to take them back faster than they came out. Then Retz smiled...

"Now that wasn't so hard," She spoke lively as she began walking towards the door. "Thank you for this conversation, Gon, wouldn't want my best friend being with the likes of you. Oh, and don't try plotting anything against me; if you do, I'll know. Have a nice day, okay? Bye sweetheart!" She spoke with sharp covered in candy words that acted like a dagger to Gon's already shattered heart...

That night, Gon slept in the floor, hiding away as he sat with all his drawn portraits of the boy. He touched them gently knowing from now on, this would be as close as he'll get to the older student. Gon let his tears fall freely as he looked at each of the portraits, stopping at the one he could remember so clearly from the day he first met Killua...

"Mom, mom, guess what?!" The doe-eyed, small, black-green haired boy spoke happily.

"What is it, little one?"

"I-I found the one I want to marry!" The little boy spoke excitedly.

"Really? What are they like?" The tall woman asked as she stopped doing the dishes, giving her son her full attention.

"He's a boy and he was so nice to me today! He saved me from these mean boys that were picking on me!"

"Really now? What happened?"

"Well, I thought of how you told me how you and dad have rings to say that you're together and that you'll love each other forever. So, I decided to make flower crowns instead since I can't get a ring, and these boys started picking on me and my sweater, then they stomped on my flower crowns. Then out of nowhere, this other boy came in and they all ran away, and he helped me remake my crowns."

"Well that was sweet and nice of him," She speaks softly from her son's words. "But now you...you want to marry him now?"

"Yup! Forever and ever, mom." The boy squeaked.

"First, little one, you have to make sure he's yours; it would be a while until you could marry, which means others may want him too,"

The small boy's eyes got scared from the words, "N-no, I want to marry him, I love him the mostest, I-"

"Don't worry, sweet one," She cooed, cupping his chubby cheek. "He can be yours as long as you don't stop loving him, as long as you don't give up and you do everything and anything to keep him."

"I'll do anything." The little boy had determined eyes.

Anything.
