'Have you heard from Uzumaki?'

'I haven't seen her, but we've been texting.'

'We were supposed to hang out this weekend, but she cancelled last minute and didn't really give me an explanation.'

'Well, maybe she's not feeling well, like she's sick and hasn't been able to contact us.'

'Yeah, maybe.'

It was Tuesday, Uzumaki hadn't been seen since Friday afternoon. Her friends didn't know what happened, but they were able to contact her. Kikyo even went by her small house to visit, but received no response; they even tried to contact her parents, but they traveled abroad a lot so they were hard to get ahold of.

They were worried -obviously- considering they've only gotten texts from her and haven't seen her physically since Friday, but were put at ease when they received a message from her saying she'll return to school soon.

Gon was annoyed by all the talk, not just because it involved the two girls he currently hated, but also because he was a little tired. He even forced himself to stay awake during his class lectures, not wanting to get scolded for sleeping and getting even more agitated.

At lunch he decided to sit up on the rooftop, a few other students lingering by as well, but quiet enough for him to rest a little. He sat at one of the benches, hiding under a shadow so the sunlight wouldn't irritate his eyes.

Gon sat down, not wasting any time for a nap, closing his eyes. He found serenity up on that rooftop; the cool breeze gently brushing past his sharp, yet soft features, the light chirping of birds and rustling of trees, the cherry blossoms even found their way up to the rooftop, the pink petals decorating and bringing color to the the silvery, cemented flooring. The distant chattering of students sitting in the center courtyard could also be heard, but barely coherent to anyone sitting at the top of the school.

The clouds brought shade to the quite bright day, creating an umbrella effect above the school while small rays of sunshine peaked through each opening in the fluffy puff of white. The sky was an ocean of sapphire blue that faded quickly to a yellowish white that formed the sun, while the puffs of white, both big and small, floated by like sailboats crossing the sea.

Gon found it absolutely peaceful, putting his exasperated mind at ease from his lengthy and tedious weekend.

"Gon?" The boy was pulled out of his dreamy state with a familiar, yet soothing voice. His eyelashes fluttered open, his vision blurry as he tried to regain focus before turning towards the honey laced voice. "K-killua?" He asked, rubbing his small fist against his eyes.

"Hi, I was trying to find a quieter place to sit. Everyone seems to be quite loud today down in the courtyard and I couldn't focus on my games." The albino boy explains.

"Oh, that's too bad." Gon responds, finally becoming more awake. "Well, it's been really sound and quiet up here, so you could read up here if you'd like."

Killua smiled, sitting next to the boy, "Yeah, I know barely anyone comes up to the rooftop, so I thought it would be a nice change. Plus, it seems like a beautiful day, too beautiful to be trapped between walls." Killua speaks further, Gon smiles a little, the sound of the elder's voice almost lulling him back to sleep. "I wish I would've brought my camera, I would've been able to take some nice photos."
