How must it be
to see the world;
at single gaze
that tightly holds;
commands with time
as day unfolds;
leave resting lives
yet still behold;
how must the world
endure such cold;
for seeing none
but selfish souls;
who move with years
exchanging roles;
where olds be youth
and youth be olds;
but careful be
for truth be told;
the world holds none
the souls no bold;
both only sees
the faulty golds;
of each one's skin
when taken off.
