The wind tousled my hair as I jumped down from the roof and down into the alley. A couple of doors down, was the pizza place Harley showed me, Charlie's Pizza. It had the best pizza I've ever tasted.

Charlie and I became good friends when Harley introduced us, the night she accidentally knocked me out. He was middle-aged but looked younger than that, with lightning blue eyes and mousy brown hair. He had some stubble on his jawline, but it was kept clean-cut, and he had very strong hands. His hands were delicate with the pizza, and it seemed like he could make dough non-stop. Which he mostly did.

He also knew my identity, it was kind of a surprise to me, but what can I say, he's a trustworthy guy and fellow demigod. A lot of things reach his ears that you never speak of, it's his superpower. He used to be a pick-pocket in his younger days but retired from his life of crime early on. He's a son of Hermes and decided running a pizza shop was what he wanted to do.

"Ey', Seahawk," He called me over to the counter, his gold tooth glittering, "I heard about the accident a while back, but I never got the chance to ask how you've been. I didn't have any drachma handy to use either, so how're you doing?"

I shuffled my feet, scuffing around, "I'm good, got hurt pretty bad, but it's cool."

After ordering my favorite pizza, he clapped me on the shoulder, "This one's on me, kid, you deserve it."

"Thanks, Charlie," I smiled widely, "see you later in the week then?"

He turned his head, the pizza oven's glow highlighting his face, "No problem, now you take care. I don't want to have to give you any more injury pizzas, it might encourage you to get hurt more often. It might even put me out of business."

I couldn't help but chuckle at his good-natured grin, "Ok, see you."

As I shoved a steaming slice into my mouth, the back of my head tingled. Sending my senses out, using the water in the air to feel around, I could pick some things up. I didn't usually use vapor sensing, because it was tiring, but it was very useful at times when you have stalkers.

There were two people on the roof opposite of me. One adult, and one young adult, both carrying weapons. Not sure who they were, I could only sense so much with it.

Ok, semi-dangerous, proceed with caution.

I caught all of this in a split second, downing the last of my pizza, keeping my face neutral. If they were here to attack, they would've done it by now, but it was best to keep my guard up anyway.

The pizza box landed with a thud in the dumpster, as I crossed the street, maybe some vapor traveling would make things interesting. Let's see how long they'll take.

As I moved across the road, I could hear the soft dud sounds of their boots on the tar, soft but not soft enough.

So, they were trained.

There weren't many trained people I could think of that would follow me except for...

Ohhhh.

Ignoring the two presences behind me, I continued with my patrol pattern: Whenever there was something suspicious, investigate it.

I was about to confront my two tails, having a hunch of who they were when I heard another scream.

It sounded like a male, in his young teen years, and a couple of other voices confirmed there were two attackers.

"Gimme your money kid," A man with dirty blond hair growled.
