(Percy's POV, time skip)
It's been about 3 and a half weeks since the "Incident" with the Joker and I was mostly healed. Everything was sore and tight, but it was to be expected, considering what my body went through, I just needed some more time.
The only thing that was still sorta messed up, was my broken wrist. They take 6-8 weeks to heal, depending, but it should be out of the cast soon. It's healing pretty fast considering it's been three weeks, I used water healing, ambrosia, and nectar so that explains that.
If I acted like the rest of me was fine, which it mostly is, then it would raise suspicions. The others don't know how fast I can heal myself, or that I can even do that, except for Jason and Barry. So, I had to fake being hurt to the correct degree. I feel kinda bad about all of these lies, but the good thing is I can go out as Seahawk again!
Seahawk has been absent for a while, so I'm lucky the Bat and his kids didn't figure it out. I seriously don't get how he doesn't know it's me, really. Like, come on Batman!
"JAYCEEEEEEEEE" I screeched down the hall, downstairs.
"What do you want, you stinkin' pterodactyl," He screamed back up, "AND DON'T CALL ME THAT!"
I thundered down the stairs but slowed to a walk before entering the kitchen. If I was caught running I would have some explaining do about where my limp went.
Slipping through the doorway, I noticed Jason was alone, which was good.
"What do you want?" He mumbled, muffin crumbs flying from his mouth.
I mulled over what I was going to say, usually, we would go on patrol here and there together, but I needed to re-introduce myself to society. Without being suspicious. Seems like I've been a lot suspicious lately.
"I was thinking," I started, but as soon as I opened my mouth, the others bounded into the kitchen.
Of course, when I start talking about something I'm trying to keep from them, they come in. It's been like that ever since Jason found out and we try to talk about it. Seriously, can't we just get some time alone? Like, go get lost in the mansion or something for Hades' sake.
I couldn't ask Jason now, they would hear. I could try to use code, but they might figure that out, so I had to be smooth. Fun. *sigh*
While Jason looked at the boys and back at me, I stared at him pointedly, it was quite obvious what I wanted. Well, if he wasn't dumb enough, it was obvious.
But soon his eyes widened as he muttered a soft "oh".
I leaned against the wall, hoping the others wouldn't see through the cover-up, "So, do you wanna take a walk or something?"
"Uh, Percy, I can't tag along his time. I've got somewhere to be, maybe later?"
He looked worried like he probably thought I would go by myself. Actually, he has a reason to worry, I would totally do that.
"Guess it's just me then," I sighed, popping the last of my muffin in my mouth, "Yum."
Tim looked up from his coffee, "Bruce doesn't want you to go out by yourself, Percy. Ever since the kidnapping, which is why at least one of us stay with you at all times. But one of us could go with you instead?"
I thought something was sketchy. Schist.
"Um, no it's fine, I changed my mind. If you need me I'll be in my room, taking a nap, so... bye." I slipped out of the kitchen before anyone could react. It wasn't the best excuse or anything, but I guess it did the trick.
I crept up the stairs and into my bedroom, wincing at how loud the window was and climbed through it. After jumping completely out and rolling into the fall, a jump that would cause a mortal to get badly hurt or even die, I ran across the lawn.
No one would know I went out, with no evidence to prove it, except for the grass stains on my clothes. But they couldn't prove it easily even with that evidence. Besides, I'm sure Alfred could get rid of the stains if I couldn't myself.
Speaking of clothes, my suit worked a little differently than most costumes. I didn't really know how it worked, though I do know that when I take it off, anything I was wearing before would be on beneath it. Guess it's because it was made by the gods, I'm not gonna question it.
Rounding a corner, I tapped the trident ring on my finger, letting the familiar blue suit appear. The only difference was the symbol, I decided to change it since the last time I wore it. It was a trident, but now I changed it to a bird. A seabird.
Soon enough, I adjusted the mask and voice changer and headed out.
Now let's go kick some butt.
(Tim's POV)
I told Percy how Bruce didn't want him going out alone, and his reaction to one of us going besides Jason was a little weird. Actually, a lot weird.
Percy's mouth twitched into a frown, but as quick as it appeared, it left his face, "Um, no it's fine, I changed my mind. If you need me I'll be in my room, taking a nap, so... bye."
"What was that about?" I asked after he ran from the room.
Jason stood up quickly, "I have to do the thing I told Percy I was doing, see ya," and he vaulted l over the counter and through the door.
"Tt, I believe that Todd knows something we do not. We shall question him, or at the least tell Father, they are both hiding the same secret." Damian frowned.
I swallowed the last of my coffee before placing the cup in the sink, as Dick spoke, "But why would he want to go on a walk with Jason and not us? Were they going somewhere to do something? Why won't they tell us, they know they can trust us!"
Damian huffed frustratedly, "Tt, I do not get it."
"None of us do Damian," I rubbed my temples, "hopefully it's not a secret that will cause any trouble."

Hello fellow demigods, and dear mortals!
How is everybody's week going? And who's excited for Easter?! I cannot wait for it, and I might even be able to do an Easter special for this story! 🐰
I got a general idea of what I want to do for it, I just have to write it out. I might not be able to publish it immediately, because my day is pretty busy then, but I will try very hard to get it out.
