(Megan's POV)
The new team member Seahawk seemed to be a nice person, but we were all very curious about him.
He only just came out as a superhero around 3 months ago, as far as my knowledge goes, but he appeared to have much more experience to himself than just those months.
Lightly staggering back, I felt a deep, overwhelming sense of grief and sadness, but I was not sure where it was coming from.
It was overpowering, and a suffocating emotion, and it took me a moment to catch my breath again. I looked around the room, searching for the source of the emotions.
I soon realized it was coming from Seahawk.
I sent out my mind to him, hoping to catch what was the matter. For if I could only see, I could understand.
As soon as I reached his mind, I was met with extremely high mental walls, one higher than Batman's, but there was a temporary crack in one of the barriers.
Moving towards it, I touched it, and seconds after was instantly kicked out.
This never happened before, except with Uncle J'onn, when I was practicing and training.
Opening my eyes again, I saw Seahawk glare at me angrily, before he collapsed his knees, and then fully to the floor.
"I am so sorry, I didn't mean to," I rushed over to his side, "He is unconscious, stuck in a memory or something else."
He started to shake as tears pooled out from his mask, "No... please..."
His pleads soon were mixed with his screams, and it broke my heart to hear them, "This is all my fault, I shouldn't have tried to enter his mind."
Batman stepped forward, pulling me away, before kneeling beside the shaking Seahawk, "If he's like this for too long, it could possibly raise his heart rate too high. It could cause him to have a seizure or a heart attack, he could also go into shock. We need Martian Manhunter."
With every scream that tore from his throat, I could see the leaguers shift uncomfortably.
Whatever he was remembering, it must have been something truly terrible.
Soon enough, Uncle J'onn flew through the walls, landing softly next to Seahawk, "Quickly, I need at least one other to accompany me."
To everyone's surprise, Kaldur and Diana both stepped forward.
"I am willing to go," Wonder Woman walked forward, placing a gentle hand on Seahawks tear-stained cheek.
Another shrill scream escaped through his lips, "No! Annabeth! Fight it!"
He writhed on the ground, as Kaldur placed a hand on his shoulder, "Let us go, before he suffers further."
(Kaldur's POV)
We entered Seahawk's mind as swiftly as was possible, and horror was what awaited us as soon as we arrived.
We were on a battlefield, littered with bodies of dead demigods. Blood was splattered everywhere, mixing with golden dust, seeping into the dirt.
The land was torn and shredded, weapons were scattered around, and there was a fireball exploding from the sky.
It took me a moment to recall the stories I was told.
The fireball must have been Leo Valdez, the Son of Hephaestus, and his metal dragon Festus.
Diana stalked forward quickly, pulling on our arms, "Come, we must find him."
