Trigger warning: This chapter deals with suicidal thoughts.

Izuku was thinking back at the memories of her, those four years they shared together. These were the happiest he had in his life since his fourth birthday. He had a genuine friend. One that cared for who he was and not his quirk, or lack of for his case.

Unfortunately, all good things have an end. Her father was moved to another part of the country for work, and of course, she had to go. This separation was painful for him. Not only did he lost his only friend, but he also had developed a crush on the girl. Though it took him a while to accept it at first.

From there, everything went downhill. Inko, his mother, fell ill and passed away. Izuku was sent to an orphanage, and let's just say it totally sucks. The problem he was initially facing at school were now constant, no peace, no tranquillity. He had no home to rest, no mother to comfort him, no Uraraka to support him. Only pain.

Izuku was studying this night. He was fortunate enough that he was provided with a proper education, at least. But this wasn't enough to compensate for his suffering.

"... Why keep living," thought the teen. "Is it worth it? Life is supposed to be lived, not endure. But I never found something to live for, so should I just ended it?"

As Izuku continued with his dark thoughts, he suddenly yawns. "11 PM? I should go to bed, I'll decide what to do in the morning." He turned his lamp off and went to bed for a dreamless night.

Izuku worked up at the sunrise. He prepared his school stuff and went out of his room. He walked quietly in the empty corridors, having worked up before most kids. He reached the dining hall without much trouble, but this is when his luck finally ran out.

"Well well well, look who's here," said a voice with a tone of malice.

It was Shinso, his biggest bullies and one of the most feared kids in the orphanage. This was due to a combination of his brainwashing quirk and his habit of hurting others just for fun. The purple hair teen went behind Izuku, with a smile that announced nothing good.

"I never imagined you to be a morning person," he commented. "But then again, I never saw you with the other at breakfast." He put a hand on Izuku's shoulder, "why do you eat on your own? It's not good to stay alone like this," he continued with a happy tone.

Izuku didn't reply, he knew better. Talking back to him was a free ticket to become his slave. You see, his quirk allows him to take over the body of anyone that answered to him. The worst part is, that you are conscious the whole time. Meaning that you can only watch whatever his sadistic mind decided to make you do, and he found it the hard way.

During their first meeting, Shinso took over Izuku and made him sneak into the girls' shower. Of course, he made sure that the green-haired kid was caught. It wouldn't have been funny otherwise. And despite his best attempt to explain what happened, no one believed him. And the detention he got was nothing compared to the beating he received from the girls.

"Ah yeah, I almost forgot that your not a talkative one. You know it is rude not to reply when someone talks to you," he continued. "Didn't your mother ever taught you manners? Oh, wait."

He chuckled a bit, like it was some kind of joke. This made Izuku's blood boil, be again he didn't say anything. Whatever he'll do, all the blames would fall on him while Shinso would be left off without any punishment. Izuku stood up and tried to leave, having finished his breakfast. But Shinso wasn't about to let that happened.

"Where do you think you're going? I'm not done with you," as he stopped Izuku on his track and shoved him back on his chair. "We still have time before you waste your time at school. I couldn't understand, why even bothered in the first place. It's not like anyone would ever want to work with a freak. so please, enlighten me."

He still got no reply from the green-haired teen. This started to annoy the brainwashing kid, not being able to have it his way. Of all the people that understood how his quirk worked, it had to be this stupid quirkless kid. He always hated that thing, going around and doing his things as if he mattered. He can't be happy, he doesn't deserve to be happy, not when he himself couldn't.

So he grabbed Izuku by the collard, "you think your smart and all because you figured my quirk out, hum? But that doesn't change what you are, a mistake. You're a lower life form that's only fit to be trampled by us." he then threw Izuku to the ground and kicked him in the face.

He started walking away before finally adding, "I don't know why you keep living like this. In your place, I would have taken a dive from a tooth and pray that I have a quirk in my next life."

Izuku recomposed himself, and ran to his room as the other kids started going to the dining area. He just sat on his bed, not doing anything, he just waited. He still had half-hour before he needs to leave for school, but he doesn't really want to anymore.

"Maybe I should have gone with this. After all, there is nothing for me in this life after all."

He then looked at the calendar, soon was the anniversary of his mother's death. "That should be a good time. Leaving this world the same day my mother did." He went up and left a notice, 'Death Day.'

He then left for school through the window since his room was on ground level. Just trying to try living 'normally' until his imminent suicide.

Once in class, the teacher made an announcement, "today we have a new transfremed student, please be nice to her."

A girl with short brown hair entered the class. Izuku noticed that she looked familiar until, "Wait, it couldn't be?"

"Hello, my name is Ochako Uraraka."

Izuku set himself to kill himself, will his reunion with Ochako change this? Or will this generate something even, worst?
