Epilogue

Izuku walked out of Musutafu's prison in his civilian clothing. He took a deep breath, after 2 years, he was finally out, and he had only one thing in his mind. He walked to the nearest phone pole and called a number on it.

"Himari Uraraka on the phone."

"Hello, it is Izuku! Do you know where I can find Ochako?"

"Izuku! She is in the central park right now. Her old classmates from high school organized a reunion. But what are you doing?"

"Planing a little surprise, I just got out, so don't tell her I am coming."

"Sure, good luck."

Izuku ended the call and jumped into the first taxi. The ride was longer than he anticipated, but he ended having just enough cash for the run. Once he arrived at the central park, he started looking for Ochako, but this was easier said than done because her class had to choose the biggest park in the city to have their little reunion.

"Seriously, couldn't they have chosen a smaller place?" Izuku has been walking around for almost an hour and a half and still no sight of his girlfriend. He was about to give up on the surprise and directly call Ochako to announce his arrival when something tugged on his pant. He looked down and saw a little girl, around 1-year-old, in a black and pink outfight and bright green air and brown eyes.

The infant was staring at him with a large smile before opening her mouth. "Papa!"

"Wait a minute! You -"

"IZUMI," cut a screaming voice. Coming from behind a tree line came barreling a panicked Ochako. She rushed toward the duo and picked up her daughter, not even realizing who was standing right in front of her. "Don't ever disappear like this again! I thought I had a heart attack, young girl," she schooled Izumi.

The little girl looked a bit guilty for scaring her mother. She then points at Izuku with her little hand. "Papa," she said again.

"No, he i-, IZUKU!"

"Surprise, I just got out."

The brunettes hugged her boyfriend, still holding Izumi, who was too clinging to her father.

"Seems that you are not the only one happy to see me."

"Don't tell me about it. Ever since she started talking, she wouldn't stop asking for you."

Izuku took Izumi from Ochako's arm, hugging her properly this time. "Hello you, I hope you've been behaving properly while I was away."

"Yas," replied the little girl with a bright smile.

"Ochako, did you find her," called a voice.

"Oh yes Yayorozu, and she wasn't alone," replied the brunette. She then grabbed Izuku by the arm and walked with him back to the picnic, which was behind the tree line. Here, Izuku saw many people that he really didn't care about (read: most). But just being with Ocgako and Izumi was enough for him.

"Hey Izuku, you're out," called Momo.

"Obviously, unless I broke out. Who knows."

"Izuku," warned the brunette.

"Right, why don't you join us," as she pointed the sheet with Tsuyu, Tokoyami and a bi-coloured man he didn't recognize.

"Sure, you didn't treat me like trash back in high school after all."

The four sat back down, and Izuku was better introduced to Ochako's friends and their acquaintances. He learned that the man he didn't know was named Shoto Todorokie and was Yaoyorozu's fiance. Meanwhile, Izumi was playing with her stuff animal on her father's lap.

"Oh and Izuku, I think I never told you the time I put Tokoyami on the circulation."

"Isn't that the copper's ultimate punishment or something like that."

"Proved and tested by yours truly."

"Serves you right for having a big mouth Tokoyami."

"Tsuyu! You traitor!"

Their conversation was interrupted by an annoying voice, "who on earth brought this eyesore."

They all turned toward the voice and saw that Mina had decided to show up. Izuku noticed that she hadn't changed a bit from what he remembered of her, meaning wearing clothes that were way too short.

"Who are you calling an eyesore?"

"Him," as Mina pointed at Izuku. "I even heard that you've been to jail. Ochako really has terrible taste when it comes to men," she snorted at them.

Ochako was about to reply when Izuku laid a hand on her arm, giving her an 'I'll handle this' look. He then covered Izumi's ears before coming back at Mina, "a bit bold coming from some bimbo that nailed herself with the best friend of her boyfriend. But I guess once a whore, always will be."

Mina's eyes widened as the girls tried to hold their laughter. "Okay, listen to me you little shit."

"Talking to yourself now? I don't know what you are smocking, but you should stop right now."

Mina was about to retort when her friends told her that he (Izuku) wasn't worth it, so she left. When this was over, Izuku finally let go of Izumi's ears, who gave him a questioning look. "Oh, nothing, mommy and daddy taking care of a pest."

When the day was over, everyone went in their separate ways after some goodbyes. Izuku and Ochako returned to Ochako's flat. Ever since Tsuyu moved with Tokoyami, she was the sole owner of the place. They put Izumi to bed, having fallen asleep midway on the way back.

"Pfew, now this is over. Do you fancy a movie Izuku? I'm kind of tired."

"well, I have to give my check-up call, so I'll be back in a minute."

"Izuku, look who is your contact."

The green-haired man took out his contract, and after seeing who he was supposed to call, he looked at his girlfriend. "No, you didn't."

"Hey, that one of the perks of the job."

"So, do you have a movie in mind?"

"Yep."

The couple spent the rest of their evening watching Muggen Train before preparing themselves for bed (Izuku snuck in the shower with Ochako). They fell asleep in each other's arms for the first time in 2 years, looking ahead for a brighter future.
