Izuku couldn't remember the last time he was this happy. Actually yes he does, it was when Ochako was here, and now she's back again. Apparently this time it was for good, since her father's job stabilized, so they won't need to move again.

Of course people at school didn't like that she spent most of her time with him, mostly the boys. But they didn't really try anything against him, not after she bitchslap one of them for beating up Izuku. It wasn't Kibara, but he never held on to his threats, so that was good.

One problem he had to face was trying to hide to the brunette that he was living at an orphanage, since it would bust his lie about his mother. He managed to convince her not to come to his home, with the excused that his mother would once again embarrass him for befriending a girl. She kind of accepted this, for now at least.

He did however visited her home. It was a nice cozy apartment, nothing fancy, but it was comfortable to live in. Of course, he had to go through his first meeting with Ochako's father,  who was suspicious of any boy approaching his daughter, and from what the green-haired boy heard at school he didn't blame him.

Thankfully he seemed more lenient with Izuku,  probably since he was a long-term friend of Ochako. And because the brunette told her dad that Izuku was dealing with enough at the moment.

"It is great that Ochako was able to meet you again," said Ms. Uraraka. "You have not idea how often she spoke about you. And don't even get me started when we move away from you, poor my poor Ochako wouldn't stop crying."

"MOM," exclaimed the brunette, blushing with embarrassment. "I wasn't crying!"

"She barely exaggerates," replied Mr. Uraraka, "you only brood for a full week."

Ochako was hiding her face in her hand, trying to cover her massive blush. Her parents were holding their laugh while Izuku just stood in the middle, trying to process what is happening.

"Also, there is something that I was wondering," said Izuku, changing the topic. "Where did you learn how to fight Uraraka? Because you completely destroyed that guy the other day."

Hearing this, Mr. Uraraka turned toward his daughter with an interrogating look, "Ochako, what on earth is he talking about?"

"Well, that idiot was hurting on Midoriya, so I taught him some manners," defended the brunette.

Mr. Uraraka still didn't seem too happy that his daughter was caught in a fight, but his wife interfered, "although it's fine that you're helping your friend, next time try a less direct approach."

"Yes mom, and to reply to your initial question Midoriya I'm taking lessons from a guy that calls himself Gunhead. Since I want to become a police officer, I thought that learning how to fight would be a good start."

"That's good," replied Izuku.

"Anyway, it's almost time for dinner," said Ms. Uraraka looking at the clock, "do you want to stay with us, Midoriya?"

"Oh no, thank you for asking, but my mom made Katsudon back at home."

"Well, have a nice evening," replied Ms. Uraraka waving goodbye. Izuku waved back, putting on a smile as he left the place.

Izuku walked back to the orphanage, his last conversation with Ochako left a big question in Izuku's mind. "What do I want to do in the future?" He never really gave a thought to this, being more focused on making it through the day in one piece.

"What do I even like," thought the teen to himself. An image of Ochako immediately came to his mind, "NO, NOT LIKE THAT!"

Izuku continued thinking about his life until he reached the orphanage. He sneaked back to his room through his window. He rapidly took his diner from the dining room back to his room, normally he wasn't allowed to do that, but for once he didn't feel like risking being cornered by anyone.

So here he was, in his room thinking about his future for the first time in his life. "So first of all, I need to make a list about what I am good at." He took out a notebook to write down everything about him. "So I'm good with computers, and electronics in general," he commented while looking at his phone and computer that he had repaired himself many times. "Maybe with a bit of learning, I can work something out of this."

Izuku went to his computer and look for more research on the topic. In his files, he stumbles upon a picture of him and Ochako when they were kids. They were sitting in an attraction for children, and she was holding onto him with a look of terror. He remembered that day, her parents had to deal with something urgent at work, so she ended up staying over at the Midoriyas.

Inko decided to bring the two kids to a theme park, and they tried a ride that turned the seats in the air. Izuku absolutely loved this, but Ochako was terrified and wouldn't let go of him. They had to buy here an entire box of mochi to calm here down after that. Izuku smiled at the memory and continued his work. His life has been an eternal storm of darkness, but even here, he found his ray of sunshine.

Meanwhile, Ochako was on her bed, looking at things on her phone. She was quite happy with the moment she shares with Izuku. When she was near him she felt different, like there was something about him that attracts her more than anything else. And when someone was hurting him, she was enraged and wants to send them to the stratosphere. But it's normal to feel this way toward a friend, right?

But she felt like something was off about what Izuku said about his mother.  She could sense that he was hiding something, and him refusing to let her at his home rose her suspicions even further. His excuse for that wasn't entirely insensate. After all, her experience of today was proof of this.  But she felt like this was still too sketchy to be.

"Midoriya, what are you hiding?"
