4 weeks after the betrayal...

I WOKE UP not feeling anything, neither my own body. I wanted to move my hands and feet but I can't feel anything. I feel so numb.

I frowned when I notice that I'm not on the hard ground below the building earlier.

Everything was white and I'm sure enough that I'm not inside the hospital, my eyes were too blurry to see the people that surrounds me, their voices are muffled and it sounds like plenty of bees flying around near my ears.

I close my eyes again, trying to concentrate and calm myself. If I am being abducted then I need to focus on my surroundings and the people around me.

Few minutes later, the muffled voices are slowly clearing in my ears.

"It's been 4 weeks, should we send her to the hospital now?"

"Are you even thinking?"

"Yes I'm thinking, Shot. Do you think she'll survive in this laboratory?"

I heard a sigh, "She's Intelligence Officer Eris Dacheu, what do you think?"

"So? She doesn't deserve it anyway, she always wants to maintain her position at the Department of Operations," The person scoffed, "Mukhang hindi niya kaya ang posisyon niya."

"Life." Matigas na wika nito.

"Whatever, I'll be outside, killing you mentally." After that, a slam of a door can be heard.

Seconds later, I heard the person standing beside the bed sighed. I carefully opened my eyes and search the owner of the voice, I saw him walking towards the chair while massaging his head.

"It's a miracle for you to be alive."

He got a messy black hair and fair skin, wearing black leather jacket and black shirt underneath. He remained silent while looking at my eyes, I didn't look away, nanatili rin akong nakatingin sakanya habang nakahiga ako.

"Cut it out, Corpse." The guy sitting on the chair said while his eyes were closed and his back head was resting on the wall.

But the guy named Corpse didn't even listen, his deep black eyes were still staring at my soul.

This time, I blinked.

"Where am I?" I spat out.

He didn't answered, tumalikod nalang siya at tahimik na lumabas ng kwarto. I was frowning at the closed door, asking myself was what that guy's problem.

"You're four weeks straight sleeping and lying on the bed like a corpse." Tiningnan ko ang lalaking naka-upo, he's now looking at me. Did he mean I'm four weeks in coma?

Pinilit kong umupo sa kama pero sa huli ay napapahiga nalang ako sa pagod at sakit while the guy was still looking at me, mukhang wala siyang balak na tulungan akong bumangon. Mukhang napuruhan ang likuran ko dahil halos hindi ko na magalaw ito.
