I was already in my sleeping clothes, ready to sleep, when the headmistress called me again. Hindi ko muna sinagot ang tawag niya kanina dahil delikado na makipag-usap ako sa labas.

"How's the school going? "

"Aren't you readying yourself for your trial? I can give you my reports after my mission." Sinandal ko ang ulo ko sa bed frame habang nakatapat ang cellphone sa tainga ko.

"I reminded you on the note that I'll be calling, isn't that right? "

"Yes," tipid kong sagot.

"My niece will be arriving tomorrow. Tail her from now on."
