[Chapter Twelve: Her Persona]

Ilang minuto ang lumipas nang magsimula kaming magtutukan ng mga baril. Neither one of us dropped our guns. Matatalas lamang ang mga matang nagtitigan kami.

And for my confusion, why does Life's gun aim at me? She's supposed to aim it at the guy in front of us, right?

I looked in her direction. Matalim siyang nakatingin sa akin at mahigpit na nakahawak sa baril, where her index finger is at the trigger, ready to pull.

"I didn't know that you're willing to shoot your own cousin."

Tiningnan ko ang lalaking tinututukan ko ng baril. He's too confident that I won't shoot him. A smirk was playing on my face. "Well, well, well." Tinitigan ko siya. "What wrong timing for you to show up."

I don't think this is the right time to act like I don't know him. It's been years since I last saw him; even his shadow was nowhere to be found. Dito lang pala siya nagtatago.

Walang sumagot nang ilang minuto. It was so sudden to see him here, knowing that I'm still labeled as missing by the organization as well. Sana ay hindi ito maging hadlang sa pagbabalik ko sa organisasyon.

I regret seeing this man in this situation.
