[Chapter Six: Three Shadows Behind Me]

I feel so dizzy.

I can't move.

I don't know where I am.

I slowly opened my eyes and look around, I'm being tied on the wooden chair that I'm sitting. Instead of seeing filthy dark room, I notice that I'm inside the dorm, I look closely at every objects around me. I'm not inside my own dorm.

I can feel the presence of a person behind me so I looked back and I saw her, I saw Stain reading a book silently.

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin bago sinubukang makawala sa upuan, natigilan ako nang mapansin kong maluwag ang pagkakatali sa katawan ko sa bangko. I quickly stood up and turned around to face Stain, I'm ready to attack her but she quickly looked up to me.

My plan on attacking her unknowingly stopped.

I don't know myself anymore, I don't know why I'm not acting like a merciless woman that I used to, who only wants to break somebody's bones and gaze at their bloods dripping down to the ground.

"I guess that girl's impact to you was massive, neither myself, I'm wondering where did your strength go." Tanong niya bago binaba ang libro sa tabi niya.

I gritted my teeth, "Don't talk to me as if we're close, student."

Kumunot ang noo niya, "You really don't know me?"

Nag-isip ako. Know her? I just know her as my pain-in-the-ass stalker roommate who got an annoying face.

"Right after we saved you from your fall, you'll not even gonna remember us?" dagdag niya.

At this moment, I only remember the Headmistress helping me and that's it. Hindi ko siya kilala.

Mukhang nagtitimpi nalang siya pero nanatili pa rin ang kalmado niyang mukha, lumipat ang tingin niya sa likuran ko nang may mapansin siyang paparating. I followed her look and I saw a guy walking towards us.

"Life, I already told you to let her go." He said with a serious tone.

Napaisip ako nang marinig ko ang tinawag sakanya ng lalaki. Life. I've heard of that before. Inalala ko kung saan ko 'yon narinig.

I remembered the time when I was trying to open my eyes while laying down on a bed, my eyes were blurry that time so I can't see the two faces who's standing at each side of the bed. And I was inside the Headmistress' building that time.

Tiningnan ko ang nagngangalang Life, is she the girl inside the room right after I regain my conciousness?

Muli kong tiningnan ang lalaki at nahuli ko itong nakatingin saakin, he's like examining my whole face.

"What happened to you, Dacheu? Headmistress sent you here so Miss Salvia and the school will have a shield, and that's you." Tanong ng lalaki.

Imbis na sumagot at naguguluhang tiningnan ko sila pareho, "Cut your questions off and tell me, what's going on?"

Ilang segundo silang natahimik pero nagsalita rin naman ang babae sa likuran ko na nagngangalang Life, "The three of us was sent here for another mission."

Kumunot ang noo ko, "The three of you?—and what? Another mission? Headmistress sent me here for my first mission and that is to protect Miss Salvia and the school while the crazy woman is gone."

Dumikwatro si Life at tinitigan ako, "We know that, wala naman kaming sinabi na 'yon rin ang misyon namin dito."

Tumaas ang kilay ko, I crossed my arms. "Enlighten me."
