ೃ⁀➷ chapter ; 006 - cherish
YOU LAY YOUR head against the stall door. tears streamed down your cheeks. sobs fleed from your swollen lips. bloody fingerprints decorated the toilet.
white roses covered in warm, scarlet red liquid floated in the now, red toilet water. snow-coloured petals scattered on the tiled floor. you sat hopelessly on the floor. your vision blurred.
you heard the stall door creak open. from the corner of your eye, you could make out a person who stood in horror.
"oh my god" they whispered. it was uraraka. she let a pitiful yet painful expression spread across her face. "y/n.." she mumbled.
she helped you up.
"i didn't know you had the-" she stopped mid-sentence and hugged you. you didn't hug back. didn't have the energy to. "y/n im so sorry."
that wasn't the response you wanted to hear. you wanted her to tell you that everything was just a dream- and that you'd wake up next to momo.
see her features light up from the sun rays, glistening through the window of a small cottage, far away from everything.
the thing you have dreamt about ever since you were little. a beautiful life with your best friend.
you blinked away the tears. "i'm sure everyone is," you grumbled. her face fell at your words.
"come on y/n, let's get you to recovery girl's office," she said while trying to pull away from the gentle embrace. your eyes widened weakly.
"no! no...no please, i don't want anyone to find out," you begged, removing your face from her chest to look up at her.
"but y/n if you don't get any help you'll-"
"i know!- i know.." you trailed off. the brunette widened her eyes.
"y/n..?"
"i love her too much, uraraka. i can't just simply forget her. i want to remember her, cherish her." you said with a small smile.
she sighed and tears pricked her eyes. "even if i'm not alive to do it," you finished.
"the only alternative to you, is to lose your life?" she questioned. she already knew the answer to that. she would've done the same, a long time ago.
but she was a naïve girl at the time. she felt you nod and hugged you once more.
she chuckled, "thought so," you felt her tighten the hug. you silently thanked her and gripped onto her shoulders tightly, closing your eyes and letting yourself fall vulnerable in front of someone else.
