Tapping his foot impatiently, Namjoon stared at the clock. Jin, stood in the doorway, frowned. "He should be back by now."
"He said he needed help? He hasn't been home in days!" Namjoon pulled on Jin's wrist, engulfing the elder in a hug. For his and Jin's comfort.
The door clicked open, and the two eagerly looked towards it.
"Well I'm here now." Jungkook shrugged, setting his shoes next to Jin's.
Namjoon grabbed the collar of the younger's shirt, pulling him to join the hug. "Where were you? Are you alright?"
"I needed some time to think." Jungkook relaxed in his loved ones arms, following when they led him to the couch. "I want to help Tae, but I don't know how. He won't see anyone but me, and he can't even say Jimin's name-"
"He's grieving Koo." Jin frowned. "It's been 3 years yeah, but I don't think you understand how hard it is to lose someone like that. Someone you've loved your whole life. He'll be okay, you just have to be there for him."
Jungkook sighed, curling up on Jin's side, relishing in the feeling of Namjoon's hand running through his hair. "I just want to help. He's so...."
"Sad?"
"Yeah I guess."
Namjoon switched hands, the other holding Jin's. It was a little awkward, reaching over Jungkook, but he made it work. "They were together since Tae was 15, Jimin 16. Love like that doesn't go away."
The TV shut off, having been paused for a while now. No one bothered to turn it back on. "He's my best friend. I want him to be happy."
"We know bun," Jin started. "But that sadness never goes away. I-It just never goes away. You can love others, but-I-" he sighed. "It's different."
Namjoon pulled Jin until he was situated between them, wrapping both arms around his shoulders. Jungkook, guilt creeping into his chest, wrapped his arms around Jin's middle, hiding his face in the eldest's stomach.
"We love you Jinnie." Namjoon muttered, hand splayed across Jin's stomach, also reaching for Jungkook.
"So much." Jungkook added, voice slightly muffled. It made Jin smile, tears clouding his vision.

For the first time in months, Taehyung left the house.
Usually he would ask Jungkook to grab him groceries, and the odd time he wanted something from the bakery down the road. But this time, he knew Jungkook was visiting his family with Jin and Namjoon.
He pulled his coat tighter, the first week of October not necessarily warm.
Taehyung sniffled, pretending it was from the cold. He kept his eyes cast to the ground, careful of rocks and uneven sidewalk.
He startled when a body crashed into his, sending him to the ground.
"Shit, I'm sorry! Here, let me help you up."
He politely declined the hand that was outstretched to him. His eyes scanned over the face that was framed by blonde hair as he stood up. Button nose, sharp, almost feline eyes, lips stretched into a pout. He was familiar.
"I'm so sorry, again. I really am."
Taehyung only nodded, gently pushing past the man. He felt eyes burning the back of his skull, but still moved at a snails pace. He hadn't enough energy to go faster.
"You dropped this!"
He turned, eyes lazily scanning as the man ran towards him.
It looked like a small piece of paper, and his eyes widened. He searched his pockets, breathing shortening when the item he kept at all times wasn't there.
"Here, a receipt or something?"
Taehyung snatched it back, leaning heavily on the wall of a brick building nearby. He slid down, clutching the paper like his life depended on it.
He ignored the man above him, who was looking at him curiously. "Knew it."
It didn't register when the man knelt besides him, eyeing him with interest. "Never knew he planned on proposing."
Taehyung stayed oblivious, only hearing thuds and dampened voices.
"Too bad he left someone as pretty as you behind."
A thin, sharp, and cold needle pierced his skin. He tuned back in for about 3 seconds before he went limp, body falling to his right, into the cold concrete.
"Not yet. Not yet."
-
Taehyung groaned, cradling his head.
He looked around his room, confused.
When did he get home?
He gingerly placed one foot on the floor, undoing the blankets he had been tightly wrapped in.
He stopped right before his bedroom door, he felt too light, something was missing.
His eyes instantly went to his left hand, breath hitching when the ring was nowhere in sight.
In a panic, Taehyung tore his room apart. He pulled the covers off the bed, ripped open his closet doors and dresser. He lifted up the small placemat on his dresser, and sighed in relief at the sight of the twinkling diamonds. How the hell did it get there?
He slipped it back on and headed into the kitchen in search of food, unaware of the blinking red lights scattered in his room.
His heartbeat quickened when he saw his fully stocked fridge, quickly looking through his cupboards, backing away when they were lined with food as well. He hadn't gone shopping, had he?
Taehyung pulled out his phone, ready to call Jungkook and ask what the hell was going on, when he saw the small piece of paper on his island counter.
Hi Taehyungie!
I noticed your fridge was empty last time I was here, so I got you some stuff.
Seriously, go shopping more. What am I supposed to eat if you have nothing?
Love,
Jungkookie <3Taehyung giggled, now calm. Of course all that kid thinks about is himself getting food.
He searched through the fridge, slightly grinning at the corner of banana milk. He wasn't surprised.
He also wasn't surprised when he saw almost all the foods he liked, Jungkook knew him well.
A carton of strawberries and a Capri Sun was pulled from the top shelf and set on the counter, as well as a bowl of Special K from the cupboards.
Taehyung ate slowly and in silence, not caring enough to turn on the TV or even put a video on his phone.
Once again, he missed the red blinking light hidden on his bookshelf, slightly behind a picture of Jimin.
