Taehyung shrugged on his coat with an excited smile and growing impatience.

Ever since Yoongi had come over and stayed with him until he had forgotten about his....stalker, (it still felt weird to say. he'd probably never get used to it) around 2 weeks ago, the two had been hanging out as often as possible. It was a little hard with how often Yoongi worked, and the sometimes strange hours he did work, but it was fine. They mostly hung out at Taehyung's, the boy wanting to be able to feel comfortable in his own home. With Yoongi, he let the ordeal slip to the back of his mind.

It just...it felt nice to be able to talk to someone who didn't know about his entire situation. Who didn't know just how heartbroken he was.

Sure, Yoongi did still treat him like he was made of glass, but he didn't look at him with pity like everyone else did.

His stalker hadn't sent him anything else, and he hadn't felt like someone was watching him, like Yoongi had warned him about, so Taehyung wondered if the stalker was intimidated. Maybe he knew Yoongi was a cop? Taehyung didn't know, but he didn't care either. The itching, burning feeling was gone, and his anxiety had lessened.

"I'm on my way, sorry I'll be a little late," Taehyung started, holding his phone to his ear with his shoulder. He locked the door and finished adjusting his coat to make it feel less awkward, "I slept in."

"No nightmares?" Yoongi asked quietly, and Taehyung could hear how busy the diner sounded in the background.

"A few. But not nearly as bad."

"That's wonderful! Want me to order you something so it's here when you are?"

Taehyung pouted, "I'm sorry Hyung, I promise I'll be there as fast as I can. I'll even run."

"I didn't say anything about it?"

"But you sounded annoyed."

Yoongi sighed into the phone, and Taehyung walked faster, "I'm not. I understand Taehyung-ah, I'm really not upset. I will be upset if you continue to talk about it though, so I ask again: want me to order you anything?"

"Just a soda Hyung, thank you."

"Of course. See you soon Taehyungie."

"Bye Hyung."

He zipped his phone into the pocket of his coat and began speed walking, upset with himself for making Yoongi wait. Yoongi was always on time, mostly early, actually, yet he couldn't even return the favor.

He entered the diner slightly (more then slightly. Way more) out of breath around 10 minutes later, and was relieved when he instantly spotted Yoongi's blonde hair in the booth right by the entrance.

"Hyung!" He called, making Yoongi's head snap up.

"Taehyung! Wonderful timing, they just brought out your soda."

"It took them 10 minutes to get a soda?"

Yoongi shrugged, taking his coat from him and setting it in the corner of the booth, on top of his. "Maybe they're overwhelmed. It is pretty busy, though it should die down soon."

He nodded in understanding, and made grabby hands towards the soda next to Yoongi.

"You have arms Taehyung, don't be lazy."

"But it's so far," He whined, pouting.

He saw Yoongi roll his eyes, but also saw the small smile he tried so hard to hide. His soda was delivered right into his hands and he smiled proudly.

Their orders came fairly quickly once placed, and Taehyung wondered how when so many people were still waiting on theirs.

"Maybe ours are just easier to make," Yoongi said, hiding his smirk with a bite of food he had stolen from Taehyung's plate.

"Hyung that's not how kitchens work," Taehyung mumbled, glaring at him slightly. He stole Yoongi's next bite right off the elder's fork as payback, "I'm pretty sure you do the tickets in order."

"What do you know about kitchens, brat that steals my food?"

Taehyung scrunched his nose and stole another bite, "I'm not a brat, and you stole some of mine!"

"Uh, yeah. I do what I want."

"Well I do what I want as well," Taehyung said, smiling around his straw as he sipped on his almost empty soda. "I can be just as mean as you, Hyung."

"First off, I sincerely doubt that. And who said anything about being mean?"

"Stealing food is mean."

Yoongi rolled his eyes, looking fond, "No it's not. But sure."

"I win, you agreed with me!"

Talking to Yoongi was easy, Taehyung had figured out. Yoongi liked to listen more then he liked to talk, but when he did talk, he was funny and brash and wonderful.

He also wasn't very forward with his emotions, Taehyung learned. And didn't like attention. He'd sneakily give Taehyung a piece of his food now and then, and he'd even gone out of his way to bring Taehyung small present to cheer him up a few times. But he wouldn't say anything when he did. He'd just shove it at Taehyung and then grumble about how the younger 'better not say shit' about it.

"Taehyung, your phone." Yoongi muttered, sick of hearing the ring tone, "Are you deaf?"

He frowned when he looked at his phone and saw 5 missed calls from Jungkook. He gave Yoongi a small smile before he excused himself and stepped out of the diner, promising he'd be back inside soon.

"Kook?"

"Taehyung! Fuck, oh thank god. Where are you? Are you okay?"

He tilted his head in confusion, "Yeah 'm fine, why?" He leaned against the side of the building, muttering a small apology when a guy brushed past him as he was walking.

"You're not home and you didn't answer my calls!"

He looked at his watch, a little surprised to see that they'd been there for almost 2 hours now, "Oh. I'm sorry. I'm out for lunch with a friend."

"A friend? Who?"

"No one you'd know. I'll introduce you to him soon, he's really nice. But I did just step out on our lunch to call you, so I'd better get back. I'll call you soon?"

Jungkook was silent on the other line for a few moments, and Taehyung pressed his lips into a thin line, "Jungkookie? You okay?"

"Taehyung..." Jungkook sounded nervous, and worried. Taehyung stood up straight, and his foot began tapping with anxiety, "There's another package."

He stilled.
