2019.11.04🍓location and dislocation

the group were backstage, gearing up for the fourth and third to last performances of the night. they had just finished their aurora stage (as well as treasure, pirate king, utopia, desire, wave and illusion) and were about to head on stage for their say my name and hala hala performances.

"9 makes 1 team! fighting!" the group did their cheer before going on stage and getting into position.

"surprise 모두 기립 박수, suicide squad 현실판에, frightening lets get burning now." and then she felt it. the sharp pain in her shoulder. aislinn paused for a second, confusing everyone, before placing her left hand on her right upper arm and quickly moving to the side of the stage. she carefully pulled off her jacket and sighed when she saw the odd shape of her shoulder.

"come here. i can hel-" a staff member started but cut himself off when the idol infront of him popped her shoulder back into place.

"ive got it. thanks, though," aislinn smiled before carefully putting her jacket on, putting her right hand behind her back to prevent herself from moving it too much, and going back to dancing as if nothing happened. through their in-ear-pieces, the members could hear their manager telling aislinn to go backstage and rest but she continued on as if she couldnt hear him.

the hala hala stage ended and the group headed backstage once more.

"hey, what happened out there? are you alright?" wooyoung asked as soon as they removed their mics.

"yeah, im fine. just a little pain, thats all," she replied as the makeup artist fixed her makeup.

"you can sit out i-" hongjoong started.

"no no, im fine. i can still perform, itll be a bit harder but nothing i cant handle," she spoke. "i wouldnt want to disappoint atiny."

"alright, well, just come backstage if you need to, okay?" seonghwa patted her back. "just take it easy, hmm?"

"okay, hwa. i promise," she smiled before the group went back onto the stage to perform wonderland and answer, the last two of the night.
it was all going well; when there was a move she would usually use her right hand for, she would use her left hand instead. all went down when it came to sans part in wonderland (when he stands on the backup dancers); aislinn was at the front between hongjoong and mingi. the taller of them lost his balance for a second, bumping into the younger and knocking her shoulder in which a crack or a pop was heard. san, who had been keeping an eye on her during his part, stopped singing and jumped down, signalling for the staff to turn off the music. the members also stopped what they were doing and went to the girl who was crouched down, holding her arm in pain as tears threatened to fall. they all took off their mics as they spoke to her.

"i-im so sorry," mingi apologized in a hushed voice as he carefully brought the girl closer and wrapped his arms around her. aislinn shook her head lightly.

"it- its not.. not your fault." she stood up, still in mingis embrace, and grabbed a mic. "atiny, i-im so so sorry i couldnt finish this stage. i hope you can forgive me," she pouted as san wiped away the few tears that finally fell. fans started shouting kind words until settling on chanting '괜찮아 아이스린-씨' (its okay, aislinn-ssi). "thank you, atiny. i am truly sorry," the girl smiled apologetically and bowed her head before going backstage with her members. "i am so sorry, guys," she apologized when the group sat down so a medic could check on aislinn.
the medic was rather frustrated to be honest; aislinn wasnt supposed to participate in the concert because she had recently recovered from not only a fractured foot, but also a fever. she was still stabilizing herself and during breaks, she was using a respirator to hold herself up until the end of the night.

"hey, dont be sorry; it isnt your fault," jongho comforted.

"but it is. i wasnt supposed to perform in the first place but i did. and then, as if not being able to keep myself up on my own wasnt enough, ive gone and dislocated my shoulder. how great is that? i dont know wha- hey, calm down. i feel pain, you know. im not made of steel," her sad tone turned to a tone of pain as the medic started touching her shoulder rather roughly and carelessly.

"sorry." the medic replied nonchalantly.

"okay, i know i shouldnt do this but i cant leave them with a crappy wonderland stage," aislinn mumbled to herself as she walked onto the stage and got into position, her arm now in a temporary sling. a staff was about to follow her on stage to take her off but the music played and he was held back by another member of staff.
since the girl was at the back until her rap, the boys hadnt noticed she was with them until she walked to the front and did her part.
the rest of the performance was successful and, despite not being able to dance with her entirety, fans still praised aislinn for her performance and perseverance.
