aislinn was out with her friends seyoon and dohyon after finishing her schedules. the boys laughed whenever aislinn tried to speak because she had a sore throat after singing for almost seven hours. she didnt mind, though - it had been a long time since they had last met up, and seyoons smile always made her happy.
the trio walked inside the new cafe that just opened up, aislinn craving caffeine. she needed it after being with her energetic friends for five hours.

"good evening, guys," the cashier greeted with a soft smile. "what can i get for you today?" "ill have a cafe latte, please," dohyon started their order. "i will take a white latte," seyoon smiled, looking over at aislinn to see what she wanted. the girl was staring at the drink menu with a pout.

"i dont know, hyung~" she whined, tugging on seyoons sleeve. "what should i have? pineapple boba? double espresso? caramel macchiato? iced mocha? hyung~ help me~" the cashier chuckled at the idol as seyoon hummed to himself, taking into consideration what the girl liked and how she liked it. "sorry about her," dohyon sighed. "shes pretty indecisive."

"why dont you try something new?" seyoon suggested quietly, leaning down to the girls height. "i dont know.." "since its fall, why dont you try their iced pumpkin spice caramel macchiato, hmm? how does that sound?" "yeah!" the ateez member agreed excitedly, bouncing a little bit. "okay, now what do you say to the nice man?"

"can i please have the iced p-pumpkin spice caramel macchiato?" she spoke quietly. yeah, her social anxiety was pretty bad but she couldnt help it - thats just how she was. "of course you can," the cashier smiled softly, punching it into the register. "is that all?" "i think so..?" seyoon looked at the other two for approval. "hyung, can i have ice cream?" aislinn asked, to which seyoon chuckled and patted her head. "please can we also have one blue and pink bubblegum icecream?" "of course."

the trio got their drinks, and aislinn got her icecream, before they headed down the street with no destination in mind. at least until aislinn saw a woman walking a great big dog across the park. "can we please go to the pet store?" "linlin, dont you need to get back to your dorm? its almost 9 o'clock.." aislinn sighed at dohyons statement, pouting. "im sure it wont hurt to just go and look at some animals. for a little kid like lina, its like going to the zoo; and for adults like us, its like going to the zoo for free unless you buy a souvenir." dohyon laughed at seyoon before agreeing and heading to the pet store.

considering the time, there was quite a few people in the pet store. the place was pretty big, with three floors and even a massive yard out the back for certain animals to go play. aislinn was immediately drawn toward the 'common housepets' area where they had cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs. "look at the puppies~" she crouched infront of a cage with only 3 sixteen week old catahoula puppies. the smallest, only a little bigger than her hand, wearily stumbled over to the girl who had slipped her hand inside the cage. the dog sniffed her hand before chewing on the tips of her fingers, the idol laughing at the feeling of small but sharp teeth poking into her skin. "look at you, youre so cute."

seyoon and dohyon had wondered off elsewhere, the former making sure the youngest was still in his sight at all time.

a worker approached aislinn with a hopeful look on her face. "hi there! were you interested in buying this one? shes the only one who hasnt yet been claimed.. her two brothers a being taken tomorrow, somewhere out in the countryside." aislinn turned to the worker and nodded; she wanted to say she wasnt looking to buy any pets but she couldnt- not after seeing the girls hopeful eyes. "ill take her. how much is she?" "i believe this little girl is going for 461,088₩ (approx. $400)."
