2019.12.30🍓skateboard competition

"okay, guys. thats all for today," hongjoong said after turning the music off. "lets go back to the dorm and relax, we have an interview later."

the group grabbed their belongings and headed down to the van. "so, what time is the interview?" aislinn asked as she scrolled through the timeline of her secret twitter account.

"its at 6 so we need to be ready for 5 so we can get there on time," hongjoong answered before plugging his earphones into his laptop. aislinn smiled and silently cheered knowing that she would have enough time to pull off this little stunt she was planning.

as soon as they got to the dorm, aislinn ran inside and grabbed some clean clothes before taking a quick shower. she was back in her bedroom within minutes, packing a couple of items into a small backpack and grabbing her skateboard. she made her way out to the lounge and put her shoes on, heading for the door.

"where are you going?" wooyoung asked from his seat on the couch.

"out," she smiled at him. "get the others in here and turn on the sports channel, the news channel, or pretty much any primary channel. ill be back in a few hours. love you," she pulled her mask up and left the dorm, skating to her destination.
when she arrived, she was not surprised to see a ton of cameras scattered around the place. she signed in at the table that was set up at the entrance of the large skate park.

"here is your tag," one of the guys at the table handed her a lanyard and a number sticker before the boy pointed her in the direction of a news reporter who was currently recording with the film crew. "they'd like to introduce you and the other skaters before we start the comp."

"got it. thanks," aislinn smiled and joined the rest of the skaters, starting up a conversation with seojin, her friend of seven years. they first met at this very competition; it was seojins first skateboarding competition and the pair bonded over their love and passion for skateboarding. they soon became the pair every skateboarding fan talked about since they were always in first and second place.

"i am kim hyojeon and we are reporting live from *** skatepark in *** where Fire : E-Z Skateboarding, the largest yearly skateboarding competition in south korea, is held," hyojeon, the news reporter, started. "right here, i have thirty skateboarders who think they can conquer this skatepark and make this competition their own. please introduce yourselves."

she went round and allowed the skaters to introduce themselves before stopping at seojin and aislinn. "now, right here, i have the runner up of the last six years. please introduce yourself to the viewers."

"hello, i am twenty year old jung seojin, second place of the last six competitions. i hope you root for me!" she bowed and smiled to the camera.

"thank you, seojin," hyojeon bowed her head slightly. "and now, the person you have all been waiting for, the skater with a killer winning streak of 16, miss choi aislinn!" the idol removed her mask and bowed.

"no way, that's our aislinn!" san shouted, shaking mingi by his shoulders. the boys were sat watching the sports channel after aislinn advised wooyoung to get the others and put it on.

"but she has a winning streak of 16. 16 wins in a row!" yeosangs mouth was hanging open in shock. he knew she was good at skateboarding but he didnt know she was this good.

"hello! I am choi aislinn, the nineteen year old skateboarder who has won the last 8 years of this competition with my killer tricks," aislinn waved to the camera before giving a peace sign.

"thank you, aislinn," hyejeon walked away from the group to allow them to get a grip of the obstacles and whatnot.

after a neat 10 minutes, the horn was sounded, signalling the start of the first set of runs.
