ATEEZ's Aislinn has released her own statement amidst bullying rumors

Recently, ATEEZ member Aislinn has been the victim of bullying rumors. After her agency, KQ Entertainment, spoke up on the rumors, Aislinn took it upon herself to release her own statement through her personal and the agency's social medias.

Read her statement below :

" Hello, this is Choi Aislinn of ATEEZ.
I am releasing this statement to deny and clarify the bullying rumors surrounding me.

First, I would like to clarify that not all, but most of these rumors are false. Whilst the claims of me physically assaulting others are false, it is true that I used to hang with the delinquents. I would never participate in their acts of unkindness and abuse, but I do recall once and only once that I had downgraded a student. The truth is, I never wanted to do it. At no point had I ever imagined myself being threatened to do something so childish yet disrespectful. How was I threatened? This group of delinquents saw me as an easy target. My personal home life was sad; my father was an alcoholic and he beat me whenever he had the chance. These delinquents knew about it and promised to help me. I agreed to this thinking it couldn't be any worse than home. I was wrong. They would drag me around and if I refused to do something, they'd do unspeakable things to me. After i had called this student a rude name, I found out that these delinquents would still abuse me even if I obeyed them. Referring back to my original statement, I would never harm someone by choice and everything I did was forced. For this, I apologize deeply.

Secondly, I am going to confirm that although I have always been more on the quite and introverted side, I had gotten into countless physical fights, though i would label them as one-sided. The claim of me getting into fights was correct, though I had never started them and i never fought back. My classmates would verbally assault me and then they would engage in the physical contact I constantly announced I was uncomfortable with. I knew that fighting back would do no good so I let them do what they wanted to me.

I would like to apologize to all of the people who were affected and harmed by my actions. I would also like to make it clear that I have not kept in touch with these students (the delinquents).

Thank you for reading.
If you made it this far, I hope you don't let these malicious rumors cloud your mind and change your view on my group, ATEEZ. Please continue to support the boys with all your heart.

Sincerely,
Choi Aislinn
KQ Entertainment "
