25. Bury a friend

Your P.O.V
I wasn't able to control any of my actions. Shin had full control over my thoughts, words, and actions.

"Finish him!" Shin yelled at me. Shoto slowly tried to get up. I kicked him in the guts. He coughed up blood. "Why won't you just give up" I said. "I never give up" he said and tried to get up again. He only had one arm to use and his body was clearly damaged.

I crouched down in front of him and lifted his head up by pulling his hair. He flinched. "Such a shame that a handsome guy like you has to die in such a cruel way" I said. "You were a good friend to me" I added.

Suddenly I snapped out of it. I let go off Shoto. I was having a fight inside my head. I closed my eyes in pain. I couldn't stand to see Shoto suffer any longer. "GET OUT" I said mad as I held my head in pain. Shin started laughing from afar.

I completely regained consciousness again. I blinked a few times before looking at the sight in front of me. Shoto was injured badly. I rushed over to him and helped him sit up. "Are you ok?" I panicked. He nodded. "I'm so sorry Shoto" I said.

"Don't be" he said. "I'll get you to a hospital as soon as possible" I said. "Kill him" I heard. I looked around me. "Just kill him" I heard again. I held my head. I was going crazy. "JUST DO IT" I heard someone yell at me. "Y/n??" Shoto asked worried.

I got up and grabbed Shin's sword. "Kill him" I heard again. The voices in my head were getting louder and creepier. I couldn't get them to stop. "LEAVE ME ALONE" I said as I fell to my knees.

"Finish him" Shin said. My eyes turned red.

I made my way towards him. His eyes widened.

"Y/n don't" he said. Tears formed in my eyes. He looked at me shocked.

Todoroki's P.O.V

"I'm so sorry Shoto" she said as a tear rolled down her cheek. "I want to fight back" she said. "But I can't" she added. "Y/n don't listen to what he's saying" I said. Her eye color was changing constantly from red to y/e/c. It looked like she was trying to resist.

Your P.O.V
My eyes turned fully red again. "Perish like all heroes should" I said and held the sword up. "You don't deserve to be alive" I added. His eyes widened as I pointed the sword at him.

"Shoto I'm so sorry" I said. "Please forgive me for what I'm about to do" I said. Why was I expressing my actual emotions? And why was I not able to stop my actions? It looked like I got control over my thoughts back, but my actions were still being controlled.

I pushed the knife closer to him. "No please stop" I said as I tried to stop my hands. Why couldn't I resist? "Y/n" Shoto said. Tears formed in his eyes. I looked at him in shock.

"No Shoto please" I said. "I'm not going to hurt you" I said. "I REFUSE" I cried out.

I started pushing the sword into his skin. My eyes turned fully red again. I lost all control over my mind, body, and actions.

His eyes widened.

I had pushed the sword completely through him.

He coughed up blood as I pulled the sword out of him. My eyes turned normal again.

I looked at him in shock.

He immediately collapsed to the ground. He was bleeding heavily. I looked at my hands that were covered in his blood. I held the sword in my hand which was also covered in his blood.

I dropped it.

"S-Shoto" I choked out as I kneeled in front of him. I turned him around and quickly called an ambulance. "Shoto please wake up" I panicked as tears were streaming down my face. My hands were shaking. I held his face. My eyes widened as I saw his left hand was holding my wrist. "Don't worry" he whispered.

More tears were streaming down my face. "Don't talk" I cried out. "You can still make it" I said in a shaky voice.

His eyes closed. "Please Shoto" I cried. "Stay with me" I said. My lips were trembling, my breathing was unstable, my head was pounding. I couldn't believe what I had done.

"I'm a horrible person" I said to myself.

The ambulance arrived. I helped them get Shoto inside. I went into the ambulance with them and sat next to Shoto's bed. I held his hand throughout the entire ride.

Meanwhile the police bad arrived at the scene and took care of Shin.

"He needs surgery immediately " one of the doctors said as we arrived at the hospital. They rushed him inside. I was forced to wait in the waiting room.

I held my heart.
