32. Fallen

Spending time with him made me feel special.
Nobody ever made me feel the way he did.
We we're both broken at one point, trying to hold on, but found each other along the way.
Two people who thought they had fallen and couldn't get back up.
After finding each other, we were finally able to experience the feeling of happiness.

I was truly the happiest I could have ever been.

"You ready to go?" he asked me with a smile. I nodded as he intertwined our fingers. We made our way to our first period. At this point everyone at school was used to us being together. When we wouldn't be together, people would start to question us.

"Goodmorning lovebirds" Denki grinned as we entered the classroom. I laughed and rolled my eyes before sitting down. "So how are things between you two?" Kirishima asked. "Pretty good" Shoto replied. "Did you guys you know..." Mineta said with a smirk. I placed my foot on his face and kicked him into the ground. "That's what you get, you perv" I said. He struggled to get up and everyone laughed. "Deserved" Jirou said.

As we finished class, I felt myself getting bored. "I wanna go home" I complained and sighed. Shoto raised his eyebrows and looked at me. "What are you suggesting?" he asked. I shrugged. "How about we" he started and grabbed my arm before pulling me outside. I looked at him surprised. "Shoto" I said as we made our way outside. "Leave to have some fun" he finished.

(Don't skip school kids lmao)

"But what about the guard?" I asked. He looked at me. I immediately knew what he meant. I controlled the guard's mind to distract him so we could sneak out.

"Now let's have some fun" he said and grabbed my hand. I smiled at him as we made our way to his car.

He had been driving again recently since his health was improving. He liked to say that I was the reason that his health is improving, but I know it's because he's finally looking out for himself.

"Where are we going?" I asked. He grinned. "You'll see" he said before driving off.

"We're here" he said as he parked the car. I looked around. He immediately covered my eyes. I let out a shriek. "Are you kidnapping me?" I joked. "Most definitely" he said back. I couldn't help but laugh. He helped me get out of the car and held his hands in front of my eyes again. "Why can't I look?" I said suspicious. "Because I want to surprise you" he said.

We started walking. It was really hard for me to walk , but luckily he was navigating me.

After a while of walking we stopped.

He removed his hands.

My eyes widened in admiration.

Wow.

This view was insane. A field filled with beautiful flowers of different colors. The sun was shining just the right amount. The sky was clear blue. The birds were chirping. I felt like I was in a dream that was too good to be true.

"You like it?" he asked as he put his arms around my waist. I silently nodded as I was still trying to take in the view. "There's more" he said and grabbed my hand. We started walking for a bit and got to a river.

"So you did come to kidnap me. Will you dump my body in the river?" I asked. He laughed and put his arms around me. "If I didn't love you so much I might have" he joked. I playfully slapped his chest.

"Let's go" he said as he made his way to the river. I followed him. We sat down by the river. In the distance I could see the flower field. "When did you find this place?" I asked and covered my face as the sun was directly hitting me. "4 years ago" he said. "I was fighting with my family" he added. "I needed to get away so I kept walking" he said. "You walked all the way here?" I asked surprised. He nodded.

"That was way before I met you of course" he said. "I wouldn't do that now" he added. "Of course not" I said and held his hand.

"If you're ever in a bad mood or feel sad, you should always come to me. I'm here to listen and help you" I said and looked at him. The sun was hitting his face in all the right spots. He looked like a piece of art. The way his eyes glistened in the sunlight was mesmerising. "You sure are staring a lot" he said and looked at me.

A bright shade of red plastered all over my face. "I.." I started nervously as he chuckled. "It amazes me how you're still able to get shy around me" he said. "You're just" I started and looked away. "I'm what?" he asked and held my face to make me face him again. "Wonderful" I said.

We both looked each other in the eyes.

"I thought I had fallen before I met you" he said. "You picked me right up" he added. I gently smiled at him. "I'm grateful for that every day" he said.

He connected our lips in a sweet but passionate kiss.

"Never allow me to feel that way again" he softly said as he pulled back.

"As long as we stick together, none of us will ever that way" I said as I gazed into his eyes.

He pressed our foreheads against each other.

"I love you y/n" he said.

"I love you too" I said as the sun hit both of our faces.

Never will I allow any of us to have that hopeless feeling again.
