The third son of Pandu, Arjun was making Vyuh for the war of Panchal to avenge the insult of Guru Dronacharya as his Gurudakshina.
More than between Drupad and Dron's students, the war was between Kauravas and Pandavas, for this will determine the crown-prince of Hastinapoor between Duryodhan and Yuddhistir.
He was looking for different vyuhs that can be made in 106 people (Including Yuyutsu). Chakra vyuh was something he planned to but wasn't sure whether the Kaurava will cooperate or not.
Suddenly Subhadra came towards him with box in her hand and portrait wrapped in red cloth and an idea popped Arjun's mind.
"Stop Stop ! Don't step on any mayavi Chakra unless you want to fall straight into patal." Arjun said.
"What ?" Subhadra asked.
"Jump from there, no from that side." Arjun said and Subhadra followed.
"Now from left side and now jump right here." Arjun said. Subhadra did as he told. Arjun chuckled.

"I came here to give you this." Subhadra said handing him a box.
Arjun opened it and found 5 pebbles with rhinestones encrusted on it in different patterns.

"Why did he give these to me ?" Arjun asked.
"He said it will help you in your quest. Now I shall take my leave." Subhadra said and turned around to walk away but her eyes fell on portrait wrapped in red cloth in her hand.
"Oh I almost forgot to give you this." Subhadra said and gave him the portrait.
"What is this now ?" Arjun asked.
"Look for yourself." Subhadra smiled and left.
Arjun unwrapped the cloth and saw a portrait of a woman. He was completely mesmerized and he felt butterflies inside him. Never in his life has he seen someone so gorgeous.
This has to be fake, a creation based on imagination, not even apsaras were this beautiful.
"I-Is she real ?" Arjun asked but by then Subhadra was long gone.
"Arjun !" The Pandavas called him.
"Huh ? Yes ?" Arjun responded.
"Come we have to go." Yuddhistir said.
"I'll be there in a moment." Arjun said.
"Arjun are you alright ?" Bheem asked.
"Y-yes I am f-fine." Arjun said and quickly walked away, clutching the portrait to his heart.
