Amelie's POV
"alright, girls. For those of you who haven't been here before, welcome to elimination. I will go through all your... dances, and eliminate who I see fit."
We all nodded. I shivered. This room was dark and large, a dungeon, with the only lights being only from the candles burning at the sides of the room.
'Welcome to the modern world,' I thought, 'we have technology yet he goes and does this,'
"let's start with 6, shall I? Need I say more than excellent? So far you have shown all the qualities of a Queen. Well done - you are safe."
"3, you were good. You danced well, even though it was clear you'd never done it before. I was proud."
"2... you weren't amazing, but what you did will surface because 1, you were terrible. You've actually put your partner in hospital with a broken foot, because of your careless dancing. Needless to say, today, 1 is eliminated."
"I deserve to be Queen!" Molly suddenly screamed. "ME! Those two are bad enough, but 6... Damien, you are looking at things completely wrong!" she kicked and screamed wildly. Men came to remove us from the room and escort us back to our rooms.
"girls," the Queen was waiting for us by the rooms.
"I understand there was a bit of a... misunderstanding downstairs? Anyway, you are the last 3 of the potentials. Be proud. Seeing as that is, 3 you are required to move your stuff from room two into room one."
I wanted to sing happily, because now Cat was going to be in my room too, but I knew that wasn't a good idea. Not only was the Queen stood there, but there were several men leaving.
Cat practically jumped into room two, while myself and Macy went back into our room. 5's bed looked empty... but now Cat would be filling it, right?
My phone was on my bed, ringing. I ran over to it, to find the callers ID was mum. I laughed and answered.
"yeah?" I asked.
"darling! You haven't called me in ages! Is everything OK? are you coming home?"
"no, mum, still here. But guess what, mum? John's here too! He's going to help me escape,"
"oh, good!" She giggled. "Phil, get off!"
"dad!" I cried. "pass me onto him, pass me onto him!"
"hey, cupcake! Still at the bad vampire's castle? But I know you'll escape, what with all the training I gave you? Come on, dear. Your mothers dying here."
"I will," I wiped tears from my eyes, "I will." I hung up, and cried tears of anger. My dad was home, yet I wasn't there to see him! Damien was so unfair - why did I have to be trapped here?
"2, you need to go. Talk to Cat... help her pack. I just need a word with 6," I heard a voice from the doorway, and Macy tip-toe off.
I sighed. "you have too many words with me, Damien. My dad's home, you know. My dad's home, and I'm not there to see him."
"you lied to me," Damien sounded angry. "you said you didn't know the boy, but clearly you do. He's here to rescue you, is he? He won't ever get the chance."
"Damien, no!" I called. "don't!"
"I get what I want," Damien told me. "I ALWAYS get what I want. Right now, 6, what I want is you, so why won't you just LET ME HAVE YOU?"
He slammed himself down on top of me, stopping me running again. "why?!"
"because you're not wanted," I squeaked at him. "not wanted... by me. I am not just a... playtoy. You're not gonna get me... without me wanting you,"
He screamed in rage and flung his arms about. "why? WHY don't you want me?"
"because your rechard," I told him, pushing on his form, trying to get him off me. "you took everything I had away from me... and gave me hell."
"because I needed you," Damien told me. "needed you, to be able to protect you, to stop myself falling apart-"
"but that's just selfish," I muttered. "you take my life from me for your own needs,"
"to give you new life," he pressed his lips against mine, warm and not at all forced, and I just couldn't pull away. He was too strong.
I felt his hands move over me, and I pushed them away. He pushed away my hair, revealing my flushed face, staring into his.
He wrapped his arms around me and kissed me deeper, stronger, but still I didn't kiss back. He moved his hands again, over my chest, and I shivered at his touch, but this time he had me completely held down so I couldn't rock away.
His arms slid under the neck of my ball gown, down towards my chest, and rested there, rubbing my muscles and telling me about my new life. I tried to push him away again as he let me pull up for air, but he held me down strong.
He kissed me even deeper, forcing his tongue into my mouth, and I kissed back. It was just too strong now and the idea of this new life inflicted me, and his hands rubbed upwards.
"sir," I heard one of the men at the door, the one Macy had been dancing with. "sir, the girls are almost done packing," he told Damien.
Damien sighed against my lips. "OK, thank you, Samuel."
He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around him as he walked me over I my bed, where he lay me down. I swore as he walked away and threw a pillow at him. He smiled and waved.
"so what did he want to talk to you about?" Macy asked as she walked back in, arms full of clothes. I'd stood back up now, to avoid confusion.
"a life," I told her. "a life I don't want."
