Chapter 18: The End of the Year

Waking up during the flight, my head on his shoulder, his scent and warmth made me feel so happy. Like nothing else in the world mattered, him and I, together.

But of course, visiting his parents house and getting to know Jai's family personally showed me that everything mattered. There was so much love and laughter in this house, I couldn't believe it. Barefoot children running around giggling, Jai in his Christmas pyjamas running around chasing them roaring wildly. Lot of delicious food, drinks, watching films snuggled in and playing board games.

We also spent some time in Sydney with Jai's family. I sensed the curiosity from Jai's mom about our future. I stayed neutral and couldn't say much cause I wasn't sure myself what I wanted our future to be. I knew I loved him, I'd fell hard for him when I learned to know him all those months after our wedding. The only thing I was sure of was that I wanted to be with him. The rest was unknown.

Meeting with Kat and Eric on 28th we had traditional Christmas dinner at their place. They had renovated their place before the baby's arrival. The next day we and some other friends went snowboarding and skiing. Kat was more of a moral support since she was on her third trimester. After a long day wrestling in the snow, we went to sauna which was funny because it was hot as fuck in there. Next day we spent time discovering the City and took midnight flight to New York.

He had booked a hotel room near the Queensborough Bridge, away from the events taking place Midtown. After the breakfast we discovered the City. I was sure that he'd done it before but with me it was different. At least that what he said when we walked around the City taking photos.

For the night he had booked a table at the lounge near the Times Square where we met some of his friends. We stayed there until the counting. When the ball dropped we all yelled "Happy fucking New Year!" from the top of our lungs and Jai kissed me wildly.

Later after the midnight we continued our night with a bar marathon. We laughed and danced stepping out from one and stepped into another, Jai holding his hands around my waist and his chin on my shoulder trying to put his tongue in my ear.

Jai's POV:

After few hours we were staying at this one bar, and Anna was dancing oh so sexy, holding margarita glass in her hand, I was sitting on the barstool talking with one of my friends, eyes glued on my babe. I finished our conversation patting on Tony's shoulder smiling and stood up and wrapped my arms around her moving body "Baby, say goodbye to Tony and the others."

"Oh they're leaving?" she asked surprised.

"No baby, we are." I said smiling smugly and dancing slow with her I said near her ear "You. Are. So. Drunk."

We said our goodbyes, took our coats and took the nearest cab. She started to kiss me, grabbing my crotch, trying to open my belt buckle kissing and biting me. Tho it kind of hurt and was turning me on at the same time, I laughed "Oh my God you're horny today! Hey, let me just take the room card so we can go and take our business in our hotel room." I started to rummage her clutch and found something else.

"Did you took already?" I held her baby pill cage between my fingers.

"Oh shit! I need to take it now." she said and took the one she forgot and put it in her mouth and showed me her delicious tongue, pill on it.

"Good girl." I said turned on and gave her a kiss before opening the car door.

We stood in the elevator, there were some other visitors. I stood patiently and held my hand on my side while her chin was placed on my shoulder and whispered weird things to my ear and giggled. I only rolled my eyes and smirked slyly. That little filthy mouth. From the elevator doors we ran to our door laughing, me trying to catch her bouncing ass. Damn, she can really run fast with those heels! When I finally did caught her I slowed her down and pushed her against our door, kissing. I swiped the card and pushed her inside our room closing the door behind with my foot. Smooth moves, man.

I unzipped my pants, grabbed her thighs to my hips and she took me in right there where we were standing. Although it was quick, we were high with pleasure when I let our trembling bodies slide on the floor and I sat next to her, panting. Her head searched support from my shoulder.

After a while I stood up, yanked her up and threw her on my shoulder to carry her to bed cause she was half way asleep. I could carry her all of my life.

"Wait, Jai, let me down, I need to.." was all she could say before I felt something warm splatting on my leg.

"What the.." I put her down on the bed carefully. But she couldn't answer, she was already asleep. I wiped her mouth clean and went to take a quick shower before I went to spoon her drunken body.

I woke up the next morning with a major headache and took the hotel phone to order us some brekkie and dug out a jar of advil, tons of it. I'm pretty sure that the living dead next to me needs it even more than I do. Oh man, she was wild yesterday, as much I can remember. I brush her cheek and swipe my fingers over her luscious lips. God, she's beautiful. And she's all mine. My wife.

My thoughts were interrupted by the knock on the door. Room service. I thanked the man delivering the food to us and strolled it closer to the bed. I poured some water and downed it with two pills. Poured some more and placed the glass on Anna's flat belly, placing two pills on the nightstand next to her. I stayed to sit there with my head on my hands.

"Morning..Ahhhhh fuck!" she whined massaging her temples "What the fuck I drank last night, jet fuel?" taking the glass and the meds.

I chuckled "Well, I'm sure the quality of the liquor was ok, it's the quantity that makes me think. I was hammered too."

"Oh shit, did I made a fool out of myself?" she asked panicking and covering her eyes.

I made it like I was thinking hard and said laughing "No babe, you're the sexy drunk who's fun to watch."

"Oh, like that's better.." she laughed and slapped me on my thigh.

"It is babe. Now let me take care of you. And then we can go home." I said to her kissing her on her forehead.

"Mmmmmm, home." she purred and dozed off.
