I wake up with so many feelings swarming my head. Patty, Draco, Patty, Draco. I can't take it anymore. I get ready for breakfast super so I can go for a walk to clear my head. As I'm walking through the courtyard, I hear a familiar voice calling my name from the big oak tree. I look over but I don't see anyone until I see a tall blonde boy jump down from the branches.

"Evie?" Draco yells out gesturing for me to come over to him. I walk over trying not to overthink what was going to happen. I feel myself starting to shake but that disappears once I see his beautiful smile.

"Hi, Draco, what's up?" I say looking around to see anyone's watching.

"Look, I know you chose Patty and I know I hurt you but that wasn't my intention. I'm really sorry..." Draco says staring at the ground and fidgeting. "... and I still really like you and really want to be with you," he says looking up and my eyes. I got lost in his eyes.

"Draco... you know I'm with Patty and honestly he's already feeling threatened by you and I don't think we would work--" I get to shut up but his lips. I can't believe he kissed me. This really didn't help the situation at all ugh. A few seconds later, I pull away. I quickly run off to the dining hall for breakfast.

"Evie?!" Draco calls for me as I'm running to the castle. Once I'm at the dining hall, I quickly find my seat next to Hermione. Soon after I catch Hermione up, Patty asks if he can talk to me outside. We walk out together, and he leads me to an empty hallway.

"Evie... I need to talk to you" Patty says grabbing my hand.

"Okay," I say getting worried.

"This isn't easy to say because I love you but last night Pansy and I were hanging out in the Slytherin common room..." He says sounding regretful. "... anyways one thing leads to another and I kissed her, I'm so sorry please we can work through this," He says trying to calm me down. I yank my hand back and start tearing up.

"We're done," I say trying my hardest not to burst into tears. I run off and Patty starts yelling after me.

"EVIE! Wait we can work this out, I'm sorry!" Patty yells after me but I continue running back to the dining hall. The second I open the doors; all eyes turn to me. I quickly wipe my tears and run to my seat. I could feel Draco's stare burning me down. As soon as breakfast was over, I went straight to potions, not interacting with anyone. I'm first so I take a seat at the very back of the classroom. Everyone started walking in and sitting everywhere except for the seat next to me, not even Hermione sat there. Until Draco walks in and almost runs to the empty seat next to me.

"May I?" Draco says with a smirk. I nod and he sits down. "Are you okay? I saw you in the dining hall" he says lifting my head by my chin. I shake my head and start telling him everything that happened in the hallway. Until Patty and Pansy walk in holding hands. I immediately drop my head and stare at page 394.

"I'm so sorry Evie, he doesn't deserve you," Draco says trying to cheer me up.

"Thank you but I love him, and I always will, and I just don't think I'll ever get over him," I say tearing up. Soon the class was over and next was charms. Draco and I have charms together, so we walk there talking about all the things we've missed in each other's lives. I really missed him.

"Hey Draco, can I talk to you?" I say before we get to charms.
