The next morning, I wake in a great mood. I get changed and head straight to breakfast. I walk in and the room falls silent. I walk over to Hermine, Harry, and Ron at the Gryffindor table. Once I sat down, everyone started talking again.

"Hey Evie, you look happy," Harry says eating his breakfast.

"Yeah, I woke up in a great mood and I'm ready for whatever drama today throws at me," I say smiling. We all finish breakfast and head to our first classes. I walk into potions a little late.

"Ms. Potter, you're late, detention after school. Now go sit next to Mr. Malfoy" Professor Snape says with no expression, like usual. I sigh and walk over to my seat.

"Hi Evie, can we talk after class?" Draco whispers in my ear.

"Sure" I whisper back with a slight smile. Soon the class was over, Draco waits for me outside in the courtyard. I walk over to where he is, and he gestured for me to sit next to him.

"So... what's up?" I say sitting down. Draco turns to face me. We make silent eye contact for a second. "Draco?" I say giggling.

"Oh, sorry," Draco says smirking. "I wanted to give you a chance to explain" Draco continues.

"Thank you, I want to apologize for being a bitch about the whole situation," I say grabbing his hand. "I heard you and Patty talking about me the other night. You said you were only dating me cause of some bet, that really hurt me" I say tearing up a little.

"I understand, I need you to know that it started as a bet, but I did end up falling hard for you," Draco says wiping my tears from my cheeks. I look up straight into his eyes. He leans in but I turn my head, causing him to kiss my cheek.

"What's wrong?" Draco says confused.

"I can't do this," I say standing up. "I can't deal with this right now; I have to go. I love you" I kiss him on the cheek and walk away. Draco chases after me.

"Evie, wait!" Draco says spinning me around. "I love you too," Draco says leaning in for a kiss. I was trying to avoid it but his cold hands on my face made it too difficult. It starts to rain but we don't stop. It was so romantic. I'd always wanted to kiss someone in the rain. I pull away and smile at him. I hug him goodbye and run to my next class. I walk into herbology soaking wet. I run to my seat next to Hermione and put my books on my desk.

"What happened?" Hermione whispers in my ear.

"Let's just say I have some decisions to make" I whisper back smiling. Minutes later Draco walks dripping water everywhere with every step. We lock eyes and smirk at each other.

"WHAT?! MALFOY? AGAIN?!" Hermione whispers kind of loudly. Everyone turns to face us.

I look over at Draco and he's giggling.

"Maybe," I say to Hermione my mainly to the whole class. Everyone turns back to their books and continues studying for our test. Once class was over, Draco waits outside the classroom for me to come out. We walk to lunch together and I sit with Hermione, Ron, and Harry. Draco waits for me outside again and we spend the rest of the day together.
