when it all started

Today's the day I go to Hogwarts and I'm terrified. Harry woke me up early to get ready for the train. We left at 10 because the train left at 11 exactly. Harry and Mum were telling me everything I needed to know about Hogwarts before going. Hearing about all the monsters that lie inside of the castle and hearing about Vol- I mean, you know who. Harry also mentioned a boy named Draco Malfoy and the second Harry said this name I felt butterflies in my stomach. I didn't say anything because I knew that Draco and Harry were so-called enemies.

"We're here!" Harry announced glancing over at you. He realized you were shaking. "Don't worry Evie. I've got your back"

"Thanks, Harry. I feel better now" I say taking a deep breath.

Harry and I get out of the car and grab our stuff from the trunk. As I was walking towards the brick wall, I heard a mysterious voice behind me.

"Pottah, who's this beautiful girl?" the mysterious voice says.

I whip my head around and see a tall, blonde, gorgeous boy standing before me.

"Back off Malfoy!" Harry yells.

Malfoy? MALFOY? I start to blush and play with my hair. Harry notices and nudges me to stop. I stop immediately.

"So, what's your name pretty?" Draco asked with a smirk.

"Evie, Evie Potter," I say with a subtle smile.

Harry turns me around and pushes me through the brick wall. I wait on the other side for Harry, but I was hoping Draco would come through first. Harry guides me through the station and introduces me to Hermione and Ron.

"Hey guys, good to see you. This is my sister Evie. It's her first year." Harry explains.

"Nice to finally meet you, Evie," Hermione and Ron say with big smiles on their faces.

I smile and follow them onto the train. I couldn't sit with Harry, so I found an empty booth and sat alone. I was staring out the window when I heard a knock on the door. I whip my head around and see Malfoy.

"Hey gorgeous, may I sit?" Draco says with a smirk.

"Oh, hey Malfoy, sure take a seat" I reply with a smile.

Draco sits in front of me and stares right into my eyes. My stomach fills with butterflies and I start to get lightheaded. I break eye contact and hold my head in pain.

"Are you okay Potter?" Draco asks with a worried look on his face.

"Yeah, I just feel a little lightheaded that's all," I say putting on a fake smile.

Malfoy moves next to me and puts his arm around me. I rest my head on his chest and fall asleep. I woke up to Malfoy shaken me slightly.

"Wake up darling, we're here," Malfoy says admiring me.

I sigh and get up to grab my stuff. Once I'd stepped off the train, Harry runs up to me.

"Evie! Were you with Malfoy?" Harry asks angrily.

"Well yeah because all the other booths were full" I reply knowing Harry would get mad if he knew what happened. Everyone makes their way to Hogwarts on the carts. I shared a cart with Hermione, Ron, Harry, Fred, and George.
