I have clue when she will stop crying but I’m kinda glad she doesn’t. This is the closest I’ve ever been to her and I love it. To cheer her up, I really want to ask her if she wants to be my girlfriend, but I’m afraid to.

“Jaz, please stop. I hate to see you in pain like this, please,” I pleadingly say to her.

“I am trying,” she chokes out between sobs.

We go quiet again. Then like I asked she stops. Just after 30 minutes of crying flat out stops. I think to myself that this terrific girl has a talent of being able to stop herself from crying. Honestly as I put the pieces together in my head it all makes since. Ever since I’ve known her, her parents have hated crying, which after 10 kids I understand completely. I remember her telling me that one day she cried in front of her parents and she had to spend the night outside in the rain.

“Do you want me to get you something?” I ask.

“No thanks,” she says getting up from my lap which is now empty and how I feel.

“I want to ask you something and I need you to be honest with me,” I tell her.

“Go ahead.”

“What do you think of me?”

“Well, I think you are funny, cute, nice.”

“No like if we dated, do you like me like that?”

“Yes, yes I would and yes, yes I do,” she says with a big grin.

“Than its official!” I say jumping up and hitting my head on the top.

Jaz Starts to laugh like there’s no tomorrow. Her laugh is cute and lively. Her silky brown hair falls over her hair while her green eyes show no more sign of sorrow. She is rolling on the floor, her gorgeous tan skin showing just above her waist.

“Come on,” I say, “It wasn’t that funny.”

“You’re right,” she huffs her dazzling white teeth showing, “It’s hilarious.”

“Great one,” I laugh now, “Come on lets go.”

“Oh I can’t go back home,” she says her face suddenly serious.

“Then we won’t go to our house.”

“Ok, I can deal with that.”

We get out of the hiding spot and walk to my car parked a few minutes away. Jaz grabs my hand which is small and soft unlike my big worn down hand. She looks up at me with her beautifully shaped face, her dimples, long face, perfectly small nose, nice thin pink lips, big green eyes, and her freckled cheeks.

“Where do you want to go?” I ask her putting a goofy smile on my face.

“Hum,” she does that cute thinking face with her lips squished together, eyes squinted, and brows coming together. “How bout of we go to a Starbucks and then a park to sit and talk.”

“I like that idea,” I say truthfully, “Very much.”

We sit in an open field on a blanket I found in my car. Jaz got a caramel frappuccino at starbucks and a cake pop. While I got a hot chocolate and a muffin. We sit and watch the stars for a while, and end up seeing 2 shooting stars. Jasmine’s head rests on my shoulder. I can hear her soft breath, and her hair blows against my face which is soft and long. I have been waiting for this my whole life, to find the one, Her.
