"Let's keep going," I simply say to Ramsies.
"I don't think I can, my legs are burning and my head is hurting."
"Nice rhyme now stop your complaint and hike that butt of yours over here. We have no food left and half a water bottle. How do you expect us to survive if we don't get food soon?"
"I don't know, but lack of food and hydration is going to make this way worse."
"Ha, your telling me. I'm the non athletic one out of us two I thought I would've broke first."
"Sure," Ramsies says looking at the ground as if it's his only comfort.
"We can stop here for tonight."
"Good I'm exhausted goodnight."
"Night."
I sit down on the soft yet hard ground. We are only about a mile from the town that we need to be in. My thoughts roam to Ryder. I wonder where he is and I long to go to our hide out. Something deep down tells me he will be there and that's where we are headed, though Ramsies doesn't know. I want to go back there then into town, and I will gladly stay as far away from the house.

I want to move away as soon as I start up a job. I realized that I overreacted big time but I initially didn't plan on any of that I thought if I just ran away I could start anew. obviously that backfired big time. Oh well I thought to myself.

It's a cold night getting closer and closer to winter. we are fully out of supples now and on the verge of starving. my feet hurt and my eyes are supper itchy.

When I hear that Ramsies is fast asleep I get up. I want to go to my old hang out spot and maybe I can get some food out of my stash there.

Someone's been here. I see fresh foot marks along the river side and leading right to my hideout but there's 2 pairs. One looks way bigger than the other indicating that it was most likely a girl and boy. I climb through the bushes and suddenly welcomed by my secret spot. It sounds like it's groaning from me not visiting her.

There's a peace of paper sticking out. I suck in my cheeks knowing who it most likely will be from. My hand makes contact with the once white paper now dotes with mud. Jasmine is written on the front in Ryder's sloppy handwriting. I force myself not to cry and stay cool. I slowly open the letter.
It reads: Jas, I want you to come home, please. I have been trying to get over you and now I have a girlfriend. I love you and want the best for you. I made horrible mistakes, that I can't forgive myself for. I love you and goodbye.
Ryder <3
