"Jasmine,we need extra help at the register," Britney called to me.
It's a super busy day at the boutique today, and I honestly didn't except it to be like this.
"Ma'am if you could please follow me to the register and I'll explain everything there," I told a middle aged women interrogating me about the sales.
"Yes, of course," she followed me around packs of girls, some boys, to the desk.
"Lady is this shirt on sale?"
"Ma'am will these pants look good on me?"
Numerous of questions like these were asked to me and Britney at the desk. She gave me a worried look that I took as she didn't know what to do. Realizing she wasn't going to control the crowd I stepped up.
" Everyone if you are in line at the register please make a single filed line!" I screamed making some people jump. "We can't get anything done if you make all this noise and try to take us away from the people we are already helping!"
Everyone in front of the registers quickly made 2 lines in front of our desk.
"Thank you!"
Britney nodded to me and went to help people in her line.
"Now, about the sale."

After a long day at work for the end of summer sale, I was mentally and physically exhausted. It was just me and Britney in the store locking up, thank goodness, when she spoke, "thanks about earlier, we've never been that busy, guess the posters worked," she chuckled.
"Yep," I remembered that first work day when we had to put up posters around the block for our end of summer sale. Many women asked about it and some men asked about it for their wives and daughters. I never thought that sales could catch the attention of so many. Oh well more money we make the more I get in my pay check and the more promising future I'll have.
I grabbed my bag and waved goodbye to Britney then walked home. Since it was August 1, I got my pay check and it was the last of the crazy sakes day. It had been going on for a week and needless to say, next year it should be two.
Once at my apartment, which had slightly more things, I dropped my backpack and went to the fridge. I grabbed a water then sat down on a lawn chair that was supposed to be on my balcony, but I really needed something in my living room/kitchen space.
I remembered that I was going to Elizabeth's and got up to go to my room and change.
I talked to Elizabeth and was having dinner at her and Emmett's place. I had no clue if he was going to be there. I was due there in twenty minutes giving me enough time to freshen up.
I picked out jeans and my nicest top, which was a plain v-neck. After this week when I get my payment for both my jobs, I'm going to go shopping. Especially because we needed nicer clothes to work at the boutique and Britney said that only a few more days of wearing jeans, before Mrs. Clark found out. I knew she'd be pissed since there was a whole page on what to wear.
I washed my face and hands. Then pulled my brown wavy locks into a pony tail. My hair has many split ends and is in need of a cut badly. I don't have enough money nor do I know a good place to go to. I made a mental note to ask Elizabeth where she goes.
I grabbed my keys and put them in my back pocket before heading out. Elizabeth and Emmett lived right next door making the walk not that far, obviously.
I knocked on the door 2 times then took a step back and waited. About 2 seconds later Emmett answered.
"Hey Elizabeth is finishing dinner, but come in," he stepped out of the Forrest and made as weeping motion inside.
