"Woah," Emmett said once he walked in the apartment door.
"What?" I suddenly got worried since I was about to be revealed to myself, "does it look bad?"
"No... It's just new but you look way better," Emmett said scrunching up his face and looking at me intently.
"Hey! Nothing that I do is bad!" Elizabeth scolds me.
"Better? So you're saying I didn't look good?" I query.
"No, no, like healthier," Emmett rephrases jus facing tinting pink.
I chuckle to myself while Elizabeth spins me around to face a mirror she put opposite the way I was sitting. I gasp shocked by what I'm looking at.
"Oh my... E-Elizabeth... I love it!" I shriek standing up and touching my now soft hair.
The way she cut it was to my shoulders and whatever products she used made me hair fuller, thicker, and healthier. Needless to say, my hair looks way better than before.
As for my face, well it's not only glowing, but the few dry spots and dirt covering my face were gone. It's not like I didn't have a shower, but you know when you wash your face with regular soap and you can't get into the pores? Well that's how my face looked before today.
"I'm glad you do!"Elizabeth claps her hands together grinning the biggest smile ever at me. She looks goofy and over excited, the same look I wear.
"Thanks again," I tell her giving her a tight hug, "but sadly I've got to go get ready for work."
"Of course," she replies.
She walks me out the door and I open my own apartment door.
I grab the new shirt I bought and quickly pull it over my head along with the sandals. I'm wearing jeans so i don't look over nice for work and that's the only pants I have besides a pair of Nike shorts and jean shorts. I put a light coating of mascara and eyeliner, Elizabeth and I got those and eyeshadow for me today.
Once I'm done getting ready I grab my keys and head out the door.

"I would like a burger with fries.""Mommy! I want chicken!"
"Ok Lucy calm down we will get you chicken," the mother I'm getting orders for herself and three kids scolds her toddler.
"We would also like two chicken baskets."
"Fries or fruits?" I ask the lady looking at her over my pad that I'm getting their orders down on.
"Fruit."
"Is that all?"
"That's all thank you," she responds nodding her head.
I finish writing then tell her that I will bring their food in about ten minutes before walking to the kitchen and giving their orders to the cooks.
I've been working two hours so far making it 6 and my shift is over at 8. So this family is probably going to be my last one I serve today. It's pretty fun working here at the diner. It's a good way to meet people and get free food.
Yep that's right I eat people's food. I mean all the cooks, waiters, even my boss sometimes steals a fry or two off the plate of someone's meal that we are about to serve. Obviously we don't do it in front of the costumers, we take a fry, price of fruit, ect. before we leave the kitchen while carrying the plate.
