After dropping off Marlowe, I went to Dunkin' Donuts and bought coffee for Justin and I; a large iced latte with a caramel swirl for me and a large iced coffee with a French vanilla swirl for Justin. Today we are going to finalize the guest list and the rehearsal dinner list. I can't believe the wedding is 4 months away and I'm so excited to make everything official.
"I think we have the lists down." Justin said and I nodded. We were going to have a pretty small wedding. "We just have to go tour some venues for the rehearsal dinner and buy your suits." I smiled. He nodded. "We plan on going at the end of the week." "You're going to look so handsome." I bit my lip and he looked away, embarrassed.
Since it's a beautiful day today, Justin, Megan, Dylan, and I decided to have a picnic. We made sandwiches and went to a park that was in the middle of both of our neighborhoods. When we got there, Lily grabbed Marlowe's hand and they ran off to go play. We laid the blanket out on the floor and sat down. I sat Mila on the floor with a teether.
"How's wedding planning?" Megan asked me. "Good, we have the guest list and the rehearsal dinner list finalized and we plan on going tomorrow to tour some rehearsal venues." I replied.
"Look at them too." Megan chuckled and I turned to see Justin and Dylan talking as they pushed Marlowe and Lily on the swings. "Glad they hit it off fast." I smiled. The kids played for a few hours before we all sat down for dinner. We talked the entire time and the kids played a little more before we said our goodbyes and left.
