I rubbed Mila's back after she finished eating. She burped after a few minutes. "Good job." I cooed and held her. She yawned and fluttered her eyelashes. I laid her down in her swing and turned it on so it moved back and forth. "Are you hungry?" Justin asked from the kitchen. "A little." I said and stood in the doorway. I smiled as Justin held up a plate with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. "Thanks baby." I grabbed it and gave him a small kiss on the forehead.
I pumped some milk while Justin did skin to skin with Mila. He rocked her carefully and I smiled watching them. He looked up at me and smiled back. "You two are adorable." I smiled. He blushed and kissed the top of her head. "When do you have to go to the audiologist?" He asked. "Tomorrow, after her newborn appointment." I finished pumping and went into the kitchen to put it in bags.
"Hi!" I waved to Marlowe as she walked in. She ran over to me and hugged me tightly. My mom walked in with trays of food. "Made you some frozen meals." She grinned. "Thanks." I chuckled and watched as she took them to the kitchen.
"Where's Mila?" Marlowe asked. I pointed to her swing. She walked over to it and sat in front of it. She smiled and gently touched her sister's hand. Justin smiled and looked on.
When Mila finished eating, I burped her carefully. When she did, I laid her in the bassinet beside our bed. I put her pacifier in her mouth and I smiled as she slept soundly. "I'm going to go take a shower. I need one." I chuckled and got up. Feeling pain in my crotch, I groaned and limped to the bathroom. "You're a superwoman mama!" Justin called to me. "I try." I laughed and closed the door.
