I held Mila as Marlowe and I followed Justin throughout our new house. My heart was swelling with the thought that this house is ours. When we finished, we went back downstairs to the living room "Are you excited to move in?" He asked me. I nodded. "I can't believe you bought this house and never told me." I pushed him playfully. He laughed and wrapped his arms around my waist before kissing me.
I laid on Marlowe's bed as she held her teddy bear before bed. "Did you like the new house?" I asked her. She nodded. "Am I still going to go to my school?" "Of course, in fact we're closer to it than this house." She smiled. "I want to have a pink room." I nodded and ran my fingers through her hair.
•••"Look who's three months old today!" I kissed Mila's forehead and put her in her swing. She looked up at me and I stroked her cheek. "She's getting so big huh?" Justin asked. I turned to look at him and smiled when I saw him doing Marlowe's hair. I nodded and walked over to him and kissed his cheek.
"Are you going to help me go through your big sister's clothes?" I looked over at Mila as we sat in Marlowe's room. Before we move, I wanted to go through and purge so we don't have a lot going to the new house. I grabbed a box and started going through it.
After I separated Marlowe's clothes, I put the clothes for donation in a bag and put it in her closet. I rubbed Mila's back before picking her up. I watched her yawn, making me smile. "You're ready for a nap huh? Mommy's tried too." We went to my room and I swaddled her before laying her in her bassinet.
