Bella has been a little off the passed few days, expectantly. I mean she did make it back from hell. She's been way too in her head she's been trying to hide it from the family but when we go to bed or home she's struggling.
Watching the person you love break more and more each day was hard. I just wanted to wrap her in my arms and take all the pain away, I've experienced hell very briefly once before and I wouldn't want to go back. So knowing she was there for as long as she was going through God knows what. Alls I know is Samuel was brought up for her whilst she was there broke my heart.
"Mum!" Eliana shouted. "Mum!" Elle came into the bedroom from the en-suite as Eli burst through the door. "What's up honey?" Elle asked she was tightening her towel around her bare body as our daughter interrupted her shower.
"Can you do my bow? They always stay in better when you do them." Eli said handing her mother her cheerleading bow to attach to her long thick ponytail. "Of course." Elle attached it with ease having practice from her time on cheer teams as she moved from school to school looking for the spell Book Bex needed a while back.
"Look at you in your new uniform, you look amazing sweetie." Elle praised. After much deliberation Eli decided to move to the school, staying the week at the school and Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night at home with us. She only moved on the terms that Caroline would start a cheer team at the school. Stefanie was also doing the same half boarding half living at home thing. It was Monday morning which meant getting the girls ready for school.
"Do you think the others will like me?" "It's impossible not to like you... You're my daughter." I tell her and she smirked. "Mum I can't find my trainers." Stefanie came into our room joining the rest of us. "They're by the door with your gym bag." I tell having put it there myself after the late night panic of getting their uniforms washed and prepared for today. Stefanie joined the football team with the twins and Hope. "I finally have someone worth cheering for." Eli praised her sister. "I don't even know if I'm playing yet." She told her sister, "Of course you'll be playing. You were amazing at Practice yesterday." She encouraged. "But it was my first practice." "Well Coach would be stupid if he didn't put you in... And considering Dad is the coach today." Eli gave me a challenging look. "I'm temp coach because Lizzie broke your actual coach ankle." I Explained. "So you'll let me play?" "Of course I will my girl." I kiss the top of her head.
"Right bags, books, car let's go." Elle encouraged them. I helped the girls with their things and put them in the car whilst they climbed in. Elle let Eli drive she has had her permit for a while but Eli is accident prone. "Say your prayers girls." I say as I get in the passenger seat. "I'm not that bad, mum took me out loads." I snap my neck to look at Eli. "She needed practice." She defended herself.
Eli successfully got us to school. "Have a good week." Elle says hugging her two girls. "Call us if you need anything." "Mum we'll see you at the game later." Stefanie said. "I know but-"Mum, we're going to be late." Eli whined. "Okay, okay forgive me for wanting to be with you for a little." She joked hugging them one last time before letting them go.
We get back in the car and I drove us home. Bella was quiet as we drove just listening to the music that was playing, she was talking with Steffi on the way here but now she was just silent. "Talk to me?" I say looking at her briefly. "Elle?" I questioned when she didn't respond. "Stop the car." She said undoing her seatbelt. "I can't just-"STOP THE CAR DAMON!" I pulled over as quick as I could and she got out the car before it came to a complete stop. She was clutching her chest as she breathed heavily.
"Arabella." I say as I swiftly make my way to her side. "Don't, don't touch me." She said firmly so I took a step back. "Bella what do you need me to do?" I asked her, I haven't seen her so caught up in herself in a long while not since she was young. She blamed herself for not being able to save Connie. "Bella?" "I don't know." She cried. I looked around no one was paying us any mind as they drove passed our car. "I feel like I'm loosing my mind. Every piece of it." She pulled at her hair. "Hey, hey stop." I held her wrists and pulled them down to her sides. "You're home now." She shook her head. "Elle?" "It doesn't feel the same anymore." I watched the tears cascade down her cheeks. "I look at the girls and I don't feel whole... I look at you and I see your body laid on the forest floor as you bleed to death by Stefan...I walk through our home and I remember every punch and push. I remember the feeling of loosing our baby... I go to the school and I want to scream. I go anywhere theres just darkness everywhere!"
