After the girls game Klaus took Ari to New Orleans. I packed up a few of her things. And followed after them the next day. With Freya... she kept her head in a book the whole journey. Less fun that Bella, she would at least have the music on.

When we arrived at the compound it was deadly silent. "Klaus!" I called out. "Brother?" I did a lap around the compound. "Nothing here besides a few broken paintings." I said holding on that had become two.

Freya's worried face deepened. "What?" "Whatever she went through, wherever she was, it achieved it's desired effect." She threw her book on the floor. "What do you mean?" "As many people Ari has killed she has a pure heart." She explained. "Pure and darkness has gotten in." We were already walking down the streets. "So we're going?" "To the jazz bar?" "I'm down to day drink as much as anyone but my wife is missing." "Niklaus would have brought her there... to stop whatever magic is running through her."

She pushed open the doors. "Nik?" She said as we walked in. "keep it down." He warned. We walked through and she was asleep on the booth couch in the back of the bar. "Here seemed to be the only place she couldn't hear them dreadful screams." "You heard them?" "Well I may have taken a pit stop in her head to see what was going on." Freya looked at him like he was crazy. "I needed to make sure it wasn't the thing that sent her mother to the looney bin." "And if it was?" "I would have put her out of her misery and killed her Damon." I went to jump him but he threw me to the wall just as quick as I moved. "She would have wanted that over killing her own child." He told me. "But lucky for us all she's just torturing herself." He said with a smug smile. I pushed him off me.

"She wouldn't do this to herself." "She's clearly not meaning to you idiot." He spoke to me like I was some child. "We spent her whole life telling her she's done nothing wrong, hiding things from her like she was a child, sugar coating it and she saw it all for herself." "She did nothing wrong." "We know that Damon... But she has a loving heart. Every time she hasn't saved someone, she blames herself." "It's what sets her apart from the rest of us." Klaus added to Freya's explanation.

"Dee?" I looked over at my sleeping Beauty and for the first time since she was back she looked like my Elle, she seemed calm and not frantic. She was at peace in her mind. She came over and held me. "How you feeling?" I asked her. She loved her eyes a faint smile on her lips. "It's quiet in here." "Good."

"So we know the problem how do we fix it?" I asked Freya... "Me" A blonde with short hair walked in. "Cammi!" Elle ran to her and hugged her tightly. "And what's the blonde meant to do?" I asked impressed. "She's a therapist." I raised my eyebrows along with Bella. Before she began laughing. "No." She said amused. "I'm not crazy I don't need a therapist." And the anger. "Calm down love." Klaus said resting his hands on her shoulder. "No one said you were crazy, you just have somethings you need figuring out." Freya tried to explain to her. "Figuring out?"

"Stop being a stroppy teenage, I just got out of that stage with Hope." Klaus tells her sitting her down. "You think you can fix this?" "Love." "Oh shove your births bush bosh up your pipe." I held back a laugh. "Ari... calm down." Cammi warned her. "You're not this angry person, you're kind and-"Dead... I'm dead... twice over... So maybe the kindness and loving and caring parts died this time too." "No... because you don't go down without a fight." She laughed in Cammi's face. "You think I'm giving up? I have two children in a completely different state to me! I came back from Hell for them. I fought for them. I am fighting for them! I'm in this disgusting jazz bar to make sure I don't completely lose my mind so I don't hurt them! I don't give up. I've fought my entire life for this life I have... So get off your high horse Cammi you're the one who gave up... Not me! YOU'RE NOT EVEN HERE!" And the blonde was gone.

"Bring her back." "She's dead!" Ari spat in Klaus' face. "Do not walk away from ARABELLA!" I stopped her from leaving the bar. "Bella this is the only place you've looked yourself, don't leave." "I'm not crazy." She whispered to me. "I'm not my mother." "No you're not, you're nothing like that Witch!" Klaus said bringing her back inside. "You're Arabella Carrington, a witch that was heard even when she was 5 years old... The only Vampire Witch hybrid there is. Arabella Carrington the women who never let anyone or thing steal her light... that thing that set you apart from us... Apart from me." Everyone was quiet Freya and I looked between the two to each other trying to suss out if Klaus was successful at calming her, or did he make matters worse?
