Lily had no idea how long she'd actually been in the library updating the Marauders. It honestly felt like she was there for more than a day. She was somewhere between explaining to Padfoot and Prongs about the betting thing.
She was fairly aware that Moony slightly disapproved by the way he stayed quiet but Prongs, Padfoot and Wormtail were all but invested in it.
'I still can't believe it. A Potter/Malfoy and Potter/Black relationship,' Padfoot said.
'So James looks exactly like me?' asked Prongs.
"Well he looks exactly like dad except for the eyes and we've been told dad looks like you so yeah pretty much." she answered.
'And you look like the other Lily, your grandmother.' Moony said.
"From what I've been told, yup. Everyone says I got mum's ginger hair, but mum says it's more of my grandmother's dark red. And I have my dad's eyes too." she smiled.
'And what about Albus? Who does he look like?' asked Wormtail.
"Dad definitely. He's got the classic raven hair with dad's eyes. He's the splitting image of him." she answered.
'And Scarlet?' asked Padfoot.
"Everyone says she looks like you, Professor McGonagall says she's got your face and hair and smile. But she has her mum's eyes." she smiled sadly, "She's a prefect and Gryffindor's star chaser. McGonagall says she got the Quidditch gene from you and her mother."
'Marlene would've loved her.' said Padfoot.
'And what about Teddy?' asked Moony.
"He's just like you, got your eyes and hair. But he's a Metamorphmagus like his mum so his hair's permanently blue right now," she giggled, "Oh and he's a Hufflepuff prefect and keeper."
'I'm confused, you're telling me Sirius Black's daughter is a prefect? And Remus Lupin's son has blue hair?' asked Prongs.
"Hey, and they still live up to the name. I can't even begin to tell you what they've done." she said, "McGonagall only made them prefects after they tried to unhinge the Slytherin painting because the password was offensive to muggleborns and they all refused to say it."
'Are they good prefects?' asked Moony.
"The best," she answered, "They aren't biased to Slytherins and they are kinda the reason the whole Gryffindor/Slytherin feud is dormant. Plus Scarlet's plainly terrifying when she's mad."
'Sounds like she got that from the Malfoys.' said Prongs.
"Mhm, she and James are practically the leaders of Gryffindor. No one ever talks back to them." she mused.
'What about the head boy and girl?' asked Moony.
"No one talks back to them. Come to think of it, even the Slytherins respect them. I wouldn't be surprised if they became head boy and girl next year." she said. She could definitely see them being head boy and girl. And the bets would surely double if they had to live in a dorm with one another. Triple if they ever show up late to breakfast.
"I'm sorry but dinner is gonna start so I've got to go. As soon as I'm done with the map tonight I'll give it to James." she promised, "Until then, Mischief Managed."
She walked out of the library, stuffing the map into her shoulder bag. She needed to update her friends and see whoever wanted to join in for tonight. If only sneaking out would be simple.
